Another M-Fer spam page that took over a Covers page.
What do you call that (surely there is a specific, computer-related term for this), when a website page just takes over a page that one is reading?

Hello,
With regards to the page takeovers you are experiencing, we strongly suggest you run a Malware/Virus check on your end.
It is possible that some of the Google Adsense advertisements running on Covers could contain a re-direct to these sites which we will look into causing these issues. However, we will require a little more information on your end prior. If you could please let us know what pages on Covers this is happening to you on. Also, where are you located?

I run a CC Cleaner, then Malwarebytes once a week; I also run MS Security Essentials once every two weeks.
Doing all that keeps my computer running smoothly and cleanly. Those malware systems have yet to turn up anything of late.
They were set up by my talented IT guy, so I just run 'em, so I'm pretty sure that my computer is quite clean on my end.
I'm in California right now.

Oh, the pages that the redirect ads have varied, from the scores pages, to the forum pages, etc.
I bet that most people just delete the redirect ad pages, then just carry on without reporting it to Covers; hence, what I've reported so far (nearly all of the redirects so far, about 4 out of 5 that have happened so far) may be the tip of the iceberg in terms of the numbers of redirects really happening to Covers' users.
I'll bet an O/U of, maybe, 1.5 out of 100 Covers users reporting any redirect ad pages; I'll take the Under.
