For the past week I have been getting redirected on my iPhone Safari browser to a "$100free Amazon gift card" scam site. So I tried deleting all my browser data and cookies, and it happens again five seconds later. I then download Firefox, and within five minutes of using Covers on the new browser the same thing happens. WTH? It cannot be "user error, duhhh it's your cookies" if it happens on a brand new browser!

It is likely related to your browsing history. We recommend running an adblocker program on your device. That should take care of the pop-ups.

Thank you, that fixed it! Downloaded a five-star adblocker for $2 via the app store, plugged in the domain name, and sure enough that worked!
