Opera browser - Why won't the emoticons work?

It's some sort of javascript problem.

I'm able to post text but the emoticons don't work for some reason.

Opera 10.6 is what I'm using.    The newest version.

When I try to insert an emoticon I get the following message.

JAVASCRIPT

"Error encountered while inserting image"

Long time Opera user here...

Right click the page

Click "edit site preferences" 

Click "Network"

Then at the bottom, where it says 'browser identification',  put 'identify as firefox'

I chose "mask as Firefox" and it worked too.   

How do you like the new upgrade 10.6.     Opera seems to be handling javascript really well now.    

A lot of people don't realize it but this is a really good browser.   

Hound, does it also have some sort of picture editor too?

It must make pictures of a hideous women look great on your computer

For my money, its the best and always the one that brings innovation. I try others sometimes and I always go back to Opera. Ive been using it since version 6.06
