New System ignores Courier font

Mods, why does the new system ignore the courier new  font? I like stuff to line up - easier to read...

Here is Courier New (if you are in the old system it lines up - new system not at all - switch back and forth to see): 

Others have noticed this as well (NYBartender and BirdsOnBat) - the new forum ignores user chosen formatting for text and text is pretty much what this place is all about :)

I seem to be able to write courier new no problem.

Have you tried resetting your browser cache and cookies?

I quote Sac in post 3 and the line breaks are not preserved - there are other issues with quoting but I'm not going to complain about that one.

Now that I know the initial bug is fixed I can try to post mu usual and see if the colors are also preserved now. thnaks CT
