NEED HELP PLEASE

Question

I THINK THERE MIGHT BE MALWARE ON THE SITE. I HAVE GOTTEN A POP UP PAGE 3 OR 4 TIMES NOW SAYING MY COMPUTER MAY HAVE SUSPICIOUS BEHAVIOR AND TO CALL A TOLL FREE NUMBER.....THE FIRST TIME IT HAPPENED I CALLED IT AND THEY WANT $300 TO FIX MY COMPUTER....THE BOX POPS UP AND MAKES A LOUD BEEPING NOISE. IT ONLY GOES AWAY WHEN I RESTART MY COMPUTER. THIS IS THE ONLY SITE I HAVE HAD IT POP UP ON AND I HAVE VIRUS PROTECTION RUNNING AND THERE IS NOTHING WRONG.

CAN YOU PLEASE LOOK INTO THIS ?

Yeah WTF, same Sh%t here i already removed 3 files of malware and all from this site.

used to have the same problems with pop up ads, lock ups and slow running. switched from Internet Explorer to Mozilla Firefox with Adblock Plus and solved almost all the problems. Covers-Team actually recommended Firefox because Explorer really is NOT that comparable with the site.

BOTH Mozilla Firefox and Adblock Plus are FREE downloads. save yourself aggravation

I JUST LOGGED BACK ON USING GOOGLE CHROME AND IT HAPPENED AGAIN. THIS IS ON THE MAIN SITE. I WAS UNABLE TO SCREENSHOT IT BECAUSE IT LOCKS UP MY COMPUTER AND I HAD TO RESTART IT.

I AM NOW USING OPERA...I DO NOT LIKE FIREFOX BECAUSE IT SEEMS TO RUN SLOWER THAN CHROME OR OPERA

Hello,We recommend using either Google Chrome or Firefox, as they are the most compatible with our site. Also, installing an ad blocker on your computer can help with pop-ups and slow loading times. Be sure to check that you do not have any firewall in place for Covers as well.- CT

I use Chrome and in USA. Been having this problem for the last 2-3 weeks or so. Never called the 800 number bc I know it&#x27;s a scam. Definitely a problem for Covers if someone can hack into you site that easily. Only way to bypass is to reboot. Happens way too frequently.

as I said in another thread, the secret seems to be Adblock Plus with ANY browser. since I got Mozilla Firefox with the Adblock Plus add on, have had VERY few problems with the Covers site other than occasional slow loading and NO annoying pop-ups or any kind of "adware" or "malware" BS

I HAVE USED OPERA ALL DAY TODAY AND HAVE HAD NO PROBLEMS SO FAR, SO IT MIGHT BE A COVERS ON CHROME ISSUE. I WILL LET YOU GUYS KNOW IF THERE IS A PROBLEM IN OPERA.

Two of my 3 computer on the same network, had the same thing happen - the only two computers that are used by family members to play on GSN game site. The 3rd computer never visits that site and no problem.   So it is definately a malware from GSN - I have tried all sorts of things to remove and fix - no luck - yet - perhaps if  everyone who plays on GSN were to contact them through their contact page - perhaps they will do something to fix it.!
