It takes too long to load. Very frustrating to have to wait till it loads to get to the individual matchup(s). Then when you click on the covers preview at the bottom of the page, you go through the same wait till it reloads on the second page. It's a waste of a lot of time when you go through the day's schedule matchups. If you must have this feature, give it it's own space. Don't make it a tedious experience to look at the matchups ![]()

Hello,
We are currently experiencing an issue with the game previews on mobile that our IT Team is looking into.
Are you encountering the slow loading times on desktop or mobile?
Thanks,

Desktop. I click on matchup and it has to load the preview first. So, I'm looking at the score page for about 5-8 seconds before it goes to the matchup page. When I get down to the bottom where the game write up has the first paragraph, I have to wait another 3-6 seconds before it goes to page two and the rest of the write up. It may not seem significant, but when you go through this procedure for 30 games a day, it gets irritating. I'd like to suggest that Game Preview box be moved to a separate place independent of the game matchup page. .

Hello,
Are you referring to the video that is shown at the top of each matchup page?
There is a separate link for the Matchup and Preview for each game on the Scores & Matchups.
If you are noticing a significant delay, we advise making sure you have an updated version of your internet browser.

Yes. it's that video that causes the delay after clicking on the "matchup" button. Once the page loads, it shows the info until that video box shows up a few seconds later which pushes all the info down to accommodate the video box. That's two delays just trying to get to the matchup info. Then, at the bottom of that page, you have the game preview with the first paragraph. Proceeding to the rest of the game preview incurs another delay until the same video box reappears and pushes the information down. Have to scroll down to bypass the repetitive video box again. Without that video box, the matchup pages would load normally and the info will be accessible without the delays of the video box. Doing this for the fifteen daily games for MLB matchups becomes a tedious task game matchup after game matchup, day after day.

I use IE but Firefox does the same thing. The wait time is 7-8 seconds on the move from the score page to the matchup page for Firefox While it's 8-10 seconds on IE.

Still the same on Firefox (I don't use Chrome because they record everything you do). My problem with that boxis not only the delay it causes. It's also the fact that when it loads, you have to scroll pass it after hitting the matchup button on the scoreboard page and then again when you continue the game preview on page two. It's the same message that is annoying to see and scroll by every time I move to another page. The delay it causes adds more to the frustration. Remove the video box and place it somewhere else where whomever wants to view it 30 times a day can do so on their own free time.
