have PM'ed Covers-Team twice recently about a problem with activating "friends" requests and NO answers. another "glitch" in the "new improved" Covers teach ???

Hello,
The two requests you have sent out need to be approved by the users you sent them to. That would be what the request is for, this does not automatically accept.
The user that added you, you will have to add him back as well (the same way you add a friend).
Easiest way to do so is to search his username in the search box to find a recent post he has made. Then send him a message, you will be prompt to add him as a friend.
The friend system is something we are working on refining.
