Covers...what's with the new "My Contests section"?

Hey Covers,

Just a question for you..what happened to the regular office pools section where all the pools that say I started were organized by sport..like NCAA BB..NCAA FB & NFL & so on...they're all jumbled together now & messed up so I have no clue what I'm looking for & have to go through most of them 1 by 1....Is someone fixing this so we can at least get the pools that we're playing in organized by sport?

Plus what happened to all the NCAA BB pools that I set up they vanished? what's happening on here? there's 0 NCAA BB pools to join or play in ....why did someone delete them all...this new setup is not good...

Plus now I'm getting "runtime errors" in some of my pools..what is going on today guys? why run this new program before testing this out? I'm getting this in my NBA pool now...can someone please fix this please?

Runtime Error

Description: An exception occurred while processing your request. Additionally, another exception occurred while executing the custom error page for the first exception. The request has been terminated.

Just one more thing...why are all the office pools now in "black & white? where did the nice crisp colors go & the cool looking pages for your pools...

Hello,

We are in the process of importing them over from the old system now. Due to some technical restraints only so much was able to be carried over at one time. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Regarding the Office Pools, we are looking into creating a My Office Pools page which will be broken down by league so you can easily find the pool you're looking for. I don't have a time frame for you at this moment however.

Let us know if the runtime error continues, we are doing code pushes throughout the day in Contests, so some things may be slow.

For testing purposes: What is the exact URL you are trying to visit and where are you located?

I had a Private NBA Office pool with the title "Greeneyeddevils" & it has vanished...I have guys contacting me left & right wondering what has happened to this private pool & I have no clue what to tell them...

May I add something to this; I am unable to make picks in any of my office pools.....  the area where I suspect the picks should be displayed is just blank.... am I the only one with this issue?

When I log on to the main page of covers, I see my user name in upper right section. When I click "contests? then select "office pools" from pull down menu; my user name is not there?

Then the next page I see is: "Popular Public Pools".... that is my only option????  Sooooo, I find a list of 4 public pools, 3 of which I am active in. I select any one of those three and then I am taken to that pools page. I see my user name on the list, but it is not highlighted like it used to be????  AND when I click on "Make Picks" there is only a blank page where the games to be picked should be ???/

Then I get this message..... any ideas?

What browser and device are you using? Also, where are you located? And, what is the pool URL you are trying to make picks on?

Also, there is a 'See all pools' link on the right next to 'Popular Public Pools'. It brings you here: https://contests.covers.com/OfficePools/List

Also, please see the 'My Contests' drop down where you can see all your active contests.

Thanks for that guys...just one other question since this is all new..how do I see my completed picks from the previous day now in this pool? I can only see what I did? I can only see something that say's Overall..Last 10 & Last 20..I'm not able to look at my picks that I've completed anymore? How can I do that? Is it that now gone?  Thanks

where can I find the players picks (of like 5000 players where they pick all sports in the consensus pages). You know how they have everybody ranked according to their picks on sides and totals?thank u

https://contests.covers.com/Consensus/CommunityLeaders is what you are looking for.

There you can sort by sport and see the Top 10 overall, sides, and totals. And if you scroll down further on that page you'll see 'Community leaders by Team'.

There you can view all sports top 20 or sort by sport.


Or are you referring to:
https://contests.covers.com/Consensus

There you can view all sports or sort by sport and see sides and totals. 


There are also Contest leaderboards per sport.

for example, im looking to see the leaderboards  for ech sport. For example, just yesterday i was looking at the NFL plyers picks ranked 1 to something like 3000 players from  best records to worst. How do i find that section to view all the players plays? thanks

That would be Contests leaderboards, not Consensus. Otherwise known as: King of Covers.

Specifically for NFL it is:

To get there manually use the Contests drop down menu.

Plus you try & enter a pick for "Survivor" & there's no "submit button" to enter your pick

One other minor problem is that in the office pool section the "commish" of the pool doesn't match up with who's running the pool...example one of my NBA pools that I'm running it's saying that joegoraiders is the commish of my pool...here's the link...you might want to look into these...
