My McAffe anti virus blocks the adds and warns them as suspicious about twice a week and removed a trojan virus a few weeks ago as well while surfing this site. On the plus side I might consider these paid surveys at home advertised here during my spare time.

It all depends on your Anti-virus/Spyware software. Like WSC says what may be considered a threat can vary from each brand. Our site is clean from viruses (there have been almost zero complaints on this issue). I would adjust teh settings of your antivirus software if these warnings are a problem as it is probably being over-protective.

Guys, I'm not talking just the anti-virus warnings. I've RECEIVED viruses from this website. I've complained about it before and for CT to stick its head in the sand and act like this never happened is insulting.

Hey Kapono. As much as it may be hard for you and others to believe, it's not coming from our site. I consider myself more knowledgeable than the average computer user when it comes to this. And yet, I myself ended up with a virus/malware/trojan/whatever. It would only seem to be "activated" when I viewed this site (and perhaps a few others). However, it DEFINITELY didn't originate from here. The thing is that these things sit on your computer and only get triggered by certain things on certain websites. As well, when you think you've removed it from your system, it reappears. That's because it hasn't been fully removed. The best thing to do is what I did...google the specific problem you're having and you'll find how to properly resolve the issue. Sometimes it takes 8 or more steps.
You honestly shouldn't think that it's insulting for CT to insist that it's not our site because the guys who work at IT are obviously skilled at what they do, and if they say that they've done EVERYTHING to make sure that it's not coming from here, then you shouldn't have any reason to doubt them.
And no...this isn't just lip service.

It may not be coming directly from covers.com Weebs, but I am 99.9% sure it is coming from the advertisements that are being displayed here. There were a ton of other users that were having problems with this months ago, I know you remember this CT and Weebs. In fact, because of this, covers apparently investigated this and for a while were only showing adchoices ads because those were considered safe. No problems when that happened. Now all these new changes are being foisted upon the user base because of the "advertisers" and it looks like the virus problem may be back? Very sad if true.

There was no issue with viruses with ads kaponofor3, that was to do with Trojan condom ads that were taking up the entire page and making the site very frustrating for users. I assure you there are no issues with viruses here.
