Streak surviver question

In the rules it says something about having to sign up during a "promotional period" of January 1st 2011-December 31st 2011.

Perhaps I start playing today, Am I still eligible to win the prizes? Or would I be disqualified since I didn't begin in time?

You can sign up and play the Streak Survivor whenever you want, you will still be eligable for the prizes.
