Starting QB Goes out in a game backup comes in and blows it - how many times have we seen that, its all too predictable. Now you give the backup a week to prepare a backup who is in line to be the starter mind you and shit can happen. Everyone puts way too much focus on a starting QB being out, especially when the coaching staff knew all week that he was gonna be out. When it happens in a game and the backup had no time to prepare I'm all for fading him, with a full week of practice under his belt and time to prepare I'm not so convinced it's a straight fade.
Interesting match up in this one for sure though, both teams like to throw it all over the field and ULM's secondary has been suspect at best the past couple of weeks.
WKU threw for 300 ULL threw for almost 400 SA threw for 200.
So based on these stats you have to think with their senior QB who is only 5-11 in the game the way ULM wins this is if they slow it down and do some work on the ground. I can't see this game hitting 60 if thats the game plan and it should be.
Looks like a play on the under for me.

Agree with your analysis, think it should be a close game and people are overreacting a little to the QB situation. Teams are pretty damn close as far as how good they are. Throwing a small bet on a ULM/Under parlay.

Pricetopher. U have made some very solid picks. I have the same picks as you on a regular basis.I have the same three tonight as well. I usually just read the threads and do not post. I just wanted to comment on the solid picks that you consistently post. I

BG last night thought they looked like the better squad. IMHO Ark St. is good both sides of the ball, home field, new QB on the road. If Ark.St. can get an early lead like my chances of covering 7

Kolton
Browning left the game against ULL with a foot injury, only to return
to the sidelines with a boot on his foot and crutches. Coach Berry has
confirmed that he will be out for this Thursday's game and possibly
longer. Senior Cody Wells will be the starter for the Warhawks. Wells
has seen limited action as a backup this year. He has passed for 302
yards, two touchdowns, and three interceptions.
