side-note.. randy butler, who was the longest tenured member of former so. miss coach jeff bower;s staff, and had risen to the position of assistant head coach, after 17 years is troy;s defensive ends coach, butler says the unwelcome departure from USM was a tough time for him and his family, but he says he;s not looking for revenge in the new orleans bowl, any body who knows me knows i am not that kind of guy,butler said, i hope our players play hard and i know they will play with good sportmanship,i have moved on, i love working for coach blakley, USM senior TE shawn nelson said his relationship with coach butler was phenomenal,it was a father-son type relationship and he taught me a lot on the field , he;s always been their and that was impotant to me........... .......

Last bowl season espn.com had this great feature the provided analysis for every bowl game that was updated every view days.  It provided great information about how teams were practicing and there psychy going into the bowl. 
Where can I find this or something similar?

I'm undecided on a side as of yet, but I think the best pick on this game is the total to go UNDER 55. 
That being said, I seem to remember reading on here somewhere last year that UNDERS don't happen that frequently in early bowl games.  Over/Unders are currently setting at 2-2 thus far.

I agree. Since that losing streak something has clicked for SOMISS, they outgained their last 4 opponents by no less than 100 yards. N this troy team isn't what it was last year, when they were a money machine.

I know they can keep up with Troy - Rice got out to a huge lead and S.Miss almost came back and tied it up... I'll play the dog.  Going to wait, I believe this line might hit 6.  Sharp

props to so. miss squad that won thier last 4 games, but not about to buck troy team, that;s season long GOAL has been to win the sunbelt-title and reach this new orleans bowl..so look for troy;s underrated defense to keep heat on eagles young fresman qb davis, troy almost beat ohio state and LSU this season, i think they will have more movation in this game...troy 38----24.........

Levi threw for 316 against LSU, the following week Troy ran for 391 against LA Lafayette.  They had a somewhat decent win against Ark. State, allowing State's only 9 pts in the 4th qtr.
 
Troy looks solid here....
