So, uh, how confident are people feeling now that they've seen the Pac 10 get abused the last two weeks?

This game looks like a coin flip. Ducks have the better skill players. OSU should dominate both lines of scrimmage.

Anyone going large on the Ducks might want to consider last year's bowl game vs. Texas. The OSU players and coaches are seeing the spread more and more. Texas was lucky to escape with the win. And didn't come close to covering.

Small play on OSU. I'll take the team with the better O and D line.

the spread offense relies more on qucikness vs strength - they might be stronger - but are they quicker side to side?? - i dont know - i know one thing osu hasnt seen an offense like oregon

the stregnth of schedule is mostly because the pac 10 is rated high and the bigh 10 low - so far big 10 1-1 wisc and minnesota - and pac 10 2-4- az, standford, ucla, osu, cal and usc - ucla played temple and usc boston college - neither very good - look at what byu, utah and neb did to the better teams in the pac 10 - i think osu keeps it close

After I watch Penn St beat LSU I'm gonna ease the seat back share some Gentleman Jack and think about what to do on the Sugar Bowl but in the meantime I'll be happy about going 3-0 after  -- BUCKEYES  +4 &  VER  50

I FEEL that Ohio State will handle & STOP Oregon's offense. To tell you the truth, Oregon has NOT played a team that has a REALLY GOOD to GREAT defense since they played Boise State the first game of the year & look what Boise's defense did to Oregon.......Oregon did not get a first down against Boise State until the 3rd qtr!!! I know that it was the first game of the year, BUT Boise's Defense came to play, I can't say the same about Oregon's offense!!!

As for Oregon, yes, they do have a very explosive offense (No Doubt about that!!) but again, I feel that Ohio State will really contain them!! Oregon's defense has improved throughout the season, BUT they STILL give up A LOT of points per game!!!

IF Ohio State scores 24 points, I feel that they will win this game easily, because of the defense.  If they don't, I still feel that Ohio State will win the game, but it will be as easy!!!

Final score:  Ohio State 35    Oregon 17

you made some good points - but a couple things ore beat usc and purdue - osu lost to both - i think oregon got better during the season - granted the pac 10 is weaker then most thought - but beside wisconsin who is in the big 10 - and statistically wisconsin killed osu at columbus  - something like 368 yards to 184 - the other decent team iowa played with their backup qb and has no offense almost beat osu and at columbus - i am on the fense here - i think oregon might be alittle over confident - a field goal might decide this one

How BAD is the Pac-10???  Not looking good so far, especially after a slightly above average Husker team DEMOLISHED a hyped AZ team.  HEAVY lean to OSU at +3 and ML.

Ok guy, you really are an idiot.  Listen I am not a Nebraska backer by any means, but they are more than a slighty below average team.  To be honest, they should be in a BCS game.  Get a clue

Pryor is theri leading rushher........Oregon has three different guys that will run for more yards today.......Pryor struggles with passing accuracy and proper reads.......he is an athlete that is being asked to play a style of football that doesn't suit him.   On the other side of the ball, all those players are in a system that suits them.  I understand that the Pac 10 may be a little over rated.......but you are not going to see me stand up and talk about a buckeye team that has lost every big game they have played in over the last 4 years!!!  The Big Ten has crapped the bed every bowl season for the last three years.............

A better offensive and defensive line the Bucks do have........that is were it ends......and in the other positions it isn't even close.  Get pressure on Pryor and move him off his spot and keep the "sandlot" play in check and the Bucks will be in big trouble.

Pryor hobbled, and Small being out takes away from possible special teams scores needed for the buckeyes here.  Buckeyes MAY keep it close for a half, but they have not seen a big / explosive back like BLOUNT all year, and I think he starts getting big chunks in the 2nd. half helping the DUCKS pull away.  Just too much speed and too many playmakers on the DUCKS side...

Sorry my post got cut off,

I concede that Ohio St. has the better linemen, but Oregon excels at every other position.  Masoli is a lot more consistent and comfortable taking making passes than Ohio St.  Ohio St. is going to have that one-sided run attack again because Pryor won't be able to make his passes.  Tressel ball might work against those lesser on the offensive side - but Oregon is among the most dangerous in the country on the offensive end.

Hey, Oregon could hit 50 by itself.  In last 6 games, Ducks have averaged 43 (against likes of Stanford, USC, and Arizona) and total has averaged 74 in these games.

I'm sure Ohio State has a solid defense, but Ducks scored 38 against
Purdue and 47 against USC--the two teams that beat Buckeyes.

Nothing in life or sports guaranteed, But I'm confident Oregon will
salvage some of cred Pac-10 has lost lately.

The Ducks will win this game... I love their offense against this Ohio State team.  I don't think OSU will be able to keep up on the scoreboard for this one boys.
