1968 - 1974 UH won 67 percent of its games without suffering a losing
season.
1973 - It's the biggest upset in school history, defeating Washington 10–7 in
front of 52,500 in Seattle. The Huskies were favored to beat Hawaii by as
many as 50 pineapples, I mean, points.
1989 - Hawaii loses its first bowl game.
1992 - Hawaii wins its first bowl game and finishes the season ranked #20.
1996-1998 - Hawaii's new coach takes them 5-32 before being fired after
losing every game in 1998. It is not true that he serves as an inspiration to
Charlie Weiss.
1999 - The best single-season turn-around in NCAA history, and they even
won a bowl game.
2006 - Quarterback Colt Brennan sets NCAA single-season records for
touchdown passes (58) and passer efficiency rating (252.96).
2007 - The only undefeated football team that year, they get blown out in
their bowl game. Ranked #10 going in, they were #19 after the bowl game.
2008 - They face Notre Dame in the Hawaii Bowl.
You forgot to mention the two times that ND visited the Warriors before this game.......both were wins.
