I know the feeling. I had it last week when I was high as a kite on my Cats after a 5-1 start and let the emotions get to me in taking the +11.5 in Baton Rouge Saturday night. You fellas are making your decisions based off of that beat down LSU gave us and all the fine play by MSU the past few weeks. However, I would caution you to slow down a bit and not rush to judgement. These two teams rarely ever blow one another out. In the last ten years, MSU won two games by more than 14 pts. Other than that, all of them have been decided by less than 2 TD's. Ky has no where to go but up next week. Can MSU cover? Of course they can. But it will not be a cakewalk.

I am on Miss St, also, but I am inclined to agree with JRock to a certain extent... of all my plays this week, Miss St is the one that feels shaky!

Despite my apprehensions, this is a system play, and the system that calls for me to play it went 8-1 ATS last week, with the only loss being Clemson, who was down to its 3rd string QB, and was therefore left off of my card...

Me being a Georgia fan  I have heard crazy stories over the years about the UK fan base and disregarded them as silly rumors but apparently those rumors were for real.Now listen close and remember you are JUST KY. I wish I had the same bright outlook that Jrock has as I too am a UK homer.  Have had season tickets since 1977 and have seen many twists and turns with this program.  Yes, UK has played MSU close in the past, but this is a 330 game on CBS and they have had a week to prepare while UK is licking its wounds from the beating they got last week.  UK is in the meat of their schedule and they have turned into vegetarians.  The cream puff early schedule is now exposed and SC, FL, and LSU have exposed the weakness of the D right up the middle.  MSU will make and example of UK Saturday and the stadium will be empty by the fourth quarter.   

Nov 8th we have you guys in Lex and in a terrible spot on your schedule between the FL/Auburn games. I'll be thinking of you after your team loses to the SEC doormat. Take care.

I AM TAKING THE WILDCATS PLUS THE POINTS HUGE IN THIS GAME!! THE REASONS ARE FOR ONE LAST YEAR WHEN THE WILDCATS PLAY THE BULLDOGS AT THERE STADIUM THAT GAME CAME DOWN TO THE WIRE. SECOND IS THE BULLDOGS ARE NUMBER 1 IN THE COUNTRY FOR THE FIRST TIME IN THEIR SCHOOL HISTORY AND THAT RANKING CARRIES A HUGE TARGET ON YOUR BACK AND ALOT OF PRESSURE ALONG WITH IT ESPECIALLY WHEN YOU ARE ON THE ROAD. I PERSONAL DO NOT THINK THE BULLDOGS CAN LIVE UP TO THAT PRESSURE OF BEING NUMBER ONE THE REST OF THE YEAR THE SEC. THREE THE WILDCATS ARE UNDEFEATED AT HOME THIS YEAR AND THEY ARE GOING TO BE OUT FOR REVENGE FROM LAST YEAR GAME. AND THE FINAL REASON  WHICH IS THE BIGGEST OF THEM ALL  THE WILDCATS KNOW IF THEY ARE ABLE TO PULL OFF THE UPSET WHICH I THINK THEY CAN BEAT THE BULLDOGS STRAIGHT UP WILL MAKE THEM BE RANK IN THE TOP 25. JUST ASK LSU WHEN THEY PUT THE BEAT DOWN ON THE WILDCATS LAST WEEK. THIS GAME REMINDS ME OF THE SAME GAME I CALL AND SAID THE SAME THING IN MY POST WHEN ECU PLAYED THE TARHEELS  WHICH WAS RANK AT THE TIME IN THERE STADIUM. ECU WENT ON TO SMASH THE TARHEELS AND AS A END RESULT ECU GOT RANK IN THE TOP 25 AFTER THAT GAME WHERE THEY HAVE BEEN EVER SINCE. WILDCATS ALL DAY BABY!!

Some nice cautionary points made above, maybe I should listen but after re-checking, this is still the best play of the weekend to me.  I gave the Cats their due last weekend against LSU and got hammered by a bad LSU offense.  If they couldn't slow down the Tigers' attack they don't belong on the same field with Miss State's offense.  Prescott has too many weapons to not find a way to move the ball all day through the Cats' wounded defense, one that got exposed last week.  This game, and the Georgia game will be the best offenses Kentucky will play all year.

I get the home field edge, the adrenaline rush of a shot at beating a #1 team (no, I don't think they are the best in the nation), but Miss State is coming off a bye and will be geared for a stretch run; there is no way they overlook this game.  MSU has to be aware that they might lose once or twice before year end and will need to be impressive in all other games.

 It doesn't matter where you fall in our schedule you ARE still KY. football and always will be. Unreal how some people let the 121st ranked schedule thru the first 6 games makes them a contender on any level.. BEAT DOWN COMING FOR UK ON ALL REMAINING GAMES..... You MIGHT squeeze one out with Missouri or Tennessee seeing how there at their weakest in years. I know the sun is bright since you have been under a rock with UK FOOTBALL for years but you better prepare to back under my friend... YOU ARE WHO EVERYBODY THOUGHT YOU WERE. LMAO
