MINN is really looking to rebound after a bad end to the season last year, they are really expecting more out of there run game this year, they have a really good WR in eric decker in 8 games last year he had 7 or more receptions, One of the strengths this year on this team should be there QB and the offensive line that returns 4 starters , Another advantage should go to minn return game , they have 2 very explosive return men- On the other hand like i said they are EXpecting more out of the run game, but will they get it ?? is the question. There Pass D is def in question , they did get a transfer from Wisconsin though who should be ok at safety...they also have to do better at getting a pass rush....  SYRACUSE - not much to say here , expected to be pretty bad again this year, cant see any of the QBs having to good of a year- Syracuse does actuall- they have some RBs with alot of potential, but when your O-LINE has its problems then i cant see them getting anything together consistent, they also have a good WR in Mike WILLIAMS, who returns from a year long suspension- but once again if the QB cant get the ball to him it wont matter- there are to many ??? for this syracuse team- QB, O LINE , pass rush stinks and they need way better play from there LBs..

From being from Central New York and playing high school football against Greg Paulus I can tell you that he will be prepared to play today. He was one of the best quarterbacks in New York state in 9th grade (I know NY isn't Texas but still impressive). Anyone who can play basketball at Duke and could have played football at a number of top schools has to be a hard worker. Mike Williams should give him a great target and will be one of the top WRs around this year. The Dome will be loud and rocking today with the hope of Syracuse football returning to what it once was. There is a lot of buzz surrounding central New York and a good feeling that they will turn it around this year. Greg Paulus also played a similar style offense in high school. Vegas put the line at 7 for a reason. They know the carrier dome is a very tough place to play especially when the fans are as excited as they are today. So please do yourself a favor and bet Syracuse and if you don't bet Syracuse then bet small. There is no such thing as a 'lock' 'sure thing' 'pick of the year'.
