How smart of Coach Urban to say that we took it easy on UT! Phew, there for a while I thought they would kick our ass. Can't believe I was dumb enough to lay 30 against a great SEC defense.
Oh well, Its Only Money. Wonder how many pts Vegas will spot the Cats this weekend?

nice to use a phrase that is the same as your screen name. kentucky is worth a look here. fla might be overvalued a bit because of the beatdowns they put on teams last year. vegas will not fall for it this year. the hotels are in a major crisis right now and they are trying to make up some ground using the sports books. that means more underdogs will cover.

No play for me on my cats, they gave up some garbage TD's against UL last week. Fla is obviously much stronger on offense. If it was 30 like the Tenn game was, i would take them, but it won't get that high.

Put in an early bet at UK+22.5. Not betting much more here, maybe on a teaser card if I can get UK at over 4 tds. Supposedly flu bug has hit UF with fears of more catching it. Some injuries for UK are concerning-Treavard Lindley (bruised knee) and Jorge Gonzalez (MCL sprain knee). IF Gonzalez can't go, that would put UK's 3rd string center in for the game. Early lean on UK at over 3 TDS but expect that to fall under that threshold. IF UK has 5 minutes like they had their 3rd quarter last week, they will not cover!!

I watched that Kentucky vs. Louisville game also. Kentucky is no where in FLA's league, it just so happens KENTUCKY is a basketball school so SEC, SEC...whatever, it's just taking this DD dog in the SEC will bite you!

Anyone who took FLA last week is a fool. +30 to an SEC team with one of the greatest NFL DEF COORD ever. I will always take those points, and I did. Monte f'ing Kiffin!

I'm leaning on FLA here. I didn't like the way Kentucky's defense played against a bad Louisville team last week. And I totally agree with robbinghomers about that FLA/TENN game last week. You can't spot an interconference rival 30 points.

is too much being made of this flu going around the fla team? that would be something to look into before laying your money down on either side of this game.

UK's defense, at times was not the best but after three 3rd quarter turnovers deep in UK territory, they only gave up 2 field goals. They also came up with an interception when needed late in the game with a tipped pass from the D-line. UK ran only 4 offensive plays in the third quarter so they were tired for the 4th and gave up a long pass for a TD. BUT this is Florida this week, so take that with a grain of salt.......
Lindley was back at practice yesterday and was 90-100%. Players feel that they can win if they can avoid mistakes but I'm not taking the ML!!
Flu concerns for FL seem a little unfounded and just a talking point. UK is expecting a healthy FL team to come to town Saturday. Maybe if UK gets blown away again this year, they will have had an outbreak of the flu!

Gators were itching to put a beat down on Tenn. and it didnt happen so best thing to get over that and the flu is to put a beat down on Kentucky. Gators played Kentucky after a loss last year and won BIG 63-5 so I see the same thing happening again Kentucky's scoring should be at a minium and well the Gators can score at will.

Lexington has gotten almost 4 inches or rain in last 2 days. It is supposed to keep raining into the at least the first half of the game so the field will get wet and could slow things down. Still on the fence about UK covering but thinking of the under here as FL defense is almost perfect and UK's offense is shaky at times as Hartline does not do the best in tight situations. Florida will score points, but will UK?? I'm saying UF 31 UK 10

Tebow may have flu. Defense is solid but Kentucky gets up for this game and never quits at home. Watch back door cover by Kentucky ala 21 pts last 10min of 4th quarter in 2005. Total is the play here. Fla will win b/c depth. Kentucky has heart and I remember strong performances from Kentucky allum such as Pookie Jones and Andre Woodson at home. 21 is a tough cover for Fla this week. This should be a busy game. Over is the play.
Fla does have a sick winning streak against kentucky too. Its double digit. May be 22 or more.

This is a tough spot for Florida. Following an emotional win against Tenn and a week before LSU. Real tough spot. Could be a let down after a big win or look ahead to LSU.
