Two questionable teams with two questionable defenses.  I'm going Toledo and the Over, but I'm gonna have to tease it to Toledo 9.5 and over 48.5

really like buffs with the under the defense will play better tonight or else they done for the season and hawkins will play better tonight

Funny friday night game is TOLEDO, and the story on outside the lines today is about toledo point shaving scandal in the past few years , they were doing it for there football and basketball team...

Going with the books and taking Toledo here, home dog for a small play. Vegas knows something, the public is hamering Colorado and the line hasn't moved.  GLTA

  With Colorado's inexperienced defense, only returning 4 starters from last year, and Toledo not having much defense, although they return 7 starters from last year.  Colorado has an experienced Offense and Toledo has an experienced offense.. I think this is a shootout, with the game being decided in the last few possessions.  I'll give the edge to the home team in Toledo +3.5.. should be high scoring also... Small play on Toledo +3.5... but I'll stay off the total for now.  Sharp

I hardly look at the totals early in the season unless it was Tuesday  only because I need to get some feel for the teams offense and defense before I can feel comfortable wagering on the totals.

just an early lean.. still looking at this  game....  sharp is right about the offences.. both team got experience there... and both team abilities to score... but the weather with the expected high winds worries me....

Some say that Colorado will be pumped up for this game and want to bounce back from last weeks loss, but I believe it will do the opposite. With them losing to a state rival that they were supposed to beat I believe it will deflate them as a football team and who cares about beating Toledo when you got whooped by State. I see Colorado being sluggish in this game and having a hard time scoring "what you would expect" points against Toledo. If a previous post earlier is correct about the wind then that will also slow down Toledo slightly. I am looking for a 27-17 score,

Col is 1- 4 in their last 5 road games (Tol is 6-3 in last 9) I am with ya

As for the game, Colorado has to be demoralized after losing to there in-state rival that was not nearly as close as the score was. Toledo's biggest weakness seems to be the Run-D, but looking at what Colorado did on the ground last week (29yds on 21att) I don't think it will be exposed like last week. The Toledo passing game is very underrated, Aaron Opelt is a good, experienced quarterback who has led Toledo to some big wins. I expect a conservative gameplan from Colorado, and they just won't be able to keep up with a Toledo O that will score some points.
