cant say i like the chips here, this line is rightfully where it is because of the recent injuries and questionables, Still no defense with CMU and no Le Fevor vs. a QB at home that is 6/0 TD.Int. 

This is a strong ML home fav for me if the price gets right.

am i missing some kind of news on this game?  something funny is going on with the line here...might be a game vegas is moving the line the wrong way on.  if it is (and i don't think the 'smart money' is moving the line by that much), then look for a blowout by northwestern.  lock of the week

I live here in Mt. P and afaik, Bellore, our all-everything LB is either out or not at full strength.  He didn't play last game.  He is a future NFL'er and is going to break all of former CMU and Bills LB Ray Bentley's records.

Other than that, CMU's QB is pretty green, still finding his way, and we've lost 2 huge WR's threats in Antonio Brown (Steelers) and Anderson (FA).  Paris Cotton at RB is not a high quality runner yet, more of a scat back, Schroeder left the program and would have fit that bill.

CMU now has it's 3rd HC in a few years, but in the past, we haven't exactly put our first foot forward all the time in NC cames, sans a home game vs BC and a road game vs MSU.  Last year vs IU, we were just plain better and still struggled to a 3 pt win.

At any rate, I like Nwestern, the spread is a 1 play game, but the idea of CMU getting blown out seems far fetched, but... if any team IS going to get blown out, it would be CMU, and with the spread within 1 score, the play has to be Nwestern imo.

but the best betting strategy on this site has to be to fade the guy using the word "lock" with his first post, not that i have alot but been here for 5 years and seen this time and time again. But NW is at home, missing linebacker worries me, still 6 is a good number here for the favorite. hit with them sharp last week, that also worries me, but dont want to get scared off this one
