This game is really so easy to cap. ND barely squeaks by a mediocre Purdue team 20-17. They beat an only average Mich St team 20-3. They beat an average Michigan team 13-6. They beat an average to good BYU team 17-14. They beat an OU team coached by clowns 30-13. Then squeaked by an average Pitt team 29-26 in 3 OTs. And finally beat an already beaten USC team without it's QB 22-13. In those 7 games they averaged an impressive 21.5pts per game. If they've done anything else this season someone please enlighten us.
Tonight ND is playing Alabama...of the SEC...who is looking to claim their 3rd title in 4 years...and who will be by far the best team ND has faced....in probably the last 5 years. The spread is a paltry 10 points.

I'm on Notre Dame for all the right reasons, Billy. But seeing that you disagree, I need to contemplate doubling my bet on the Irish. Thanks for the help, Billy.

Then luck to you.....that the Irish will squeak by yet again tonight....against not just another mediocre opponent....but the best team they will have faced in more like 10 years.
Sorry....but they will surely need a visit from Jesus himself to perform a miracle on the field. Otherwise....they just ain't up to the task at hand.
