Let's not forget this is the GMAC Bowl... I know I would be stoked out of my mind to play in that Bowl... I'd say treat this like a normal game with two teams playing that haven't been on the field in a month... Look at the conferences a little, who has the better defense and the better running game.  Who has the better FG kicker, punter, and overall special teams as well.  The game is right at home for Troy too.. I like CMU too but can't put too much stock in a MAC team - there so hard to predict - u never know what you will get from them from one quarter to the next.. don't know much about Troy... I'm sure LaFevour will be trying to impress the NFL scouts one LAST time...  With that.. I would have to say...

CMU -2.5 for a average play...

I'll take the under to see if it can hit for the 10th time in 12 games... why not?  maybe 1 unit on the under and 1 unit on CMU or a parlay of CMU and UNDER for a unit.

Thats a little over 4 pts under per game - with the last seven games being A LOT under...

Do yourself a Favor:

Parlay Under & CMU (if thats your pick) & Whoever for BCS Game

If a unit is 50 bucks...you can basically have 250 riding on the BCS game with whoever you like and only a shot to lose 50.

I'm also going to tease the GMAC bowl and leave the 3rd team open for Texas.

What a game... I was lucky and escaped losing almost 6 units, and yes a unit for me is $50.

Here is what I had...

CMU -3 (4 units)

CMU -3 & UND 63 (2 units)

CMU/TROY OVR 63 (2 units)   -just a hedge

NET GAIN:  0 units - I can live witht that... CMU was HORRIBLE on defense...

CONCLUSION:  MAC teams are TOO unpredictable!

BUT.. I'm glad to walk away unscathed...
