What is so different from OSU losing to Illinois then LSU losing to Arkansas?

Look im a Bucks fan, i said from the time OSU became #1 i said there only there cause of no losses. They were never truly a #1 team only 3 seniors Tressle overchieved i realize that.

But to say they beat no ranked teams is not true, u have to look at the time they played @Purdue,@Penn St,Wisky,@Mich so take for granted as season went on Purdue and Mich sucked but to say they played no ranked teams is not true they were ranked at the time.

That holds true to anyother team in my eyes, I still say OSU should accept the Rose Bowl now and not go to the Campionship Game if the other 2 teams lose. They lost at home to Illinois next to last game of season at home.

Not a big deal here, but my opinion just differs. I go by the finish. Purdue only gets ranked because they play nobody and are 4-0 or whatever. Going by your reasoning, just gives more power to preseason polls and we all know how good they are. The computers take the whole season into account and so should you. OSU* beat nobody that finshed ranked this year.

"I'll take Arkansas +4, against Ohio St., on the money line ALL DAY LONG." Now what he means is, if Arkansas was at +4 against Ohio State, he would take Arkansas on the money line, which means he would take Arkansas to Win the game straight up. Does he need to draw a picture too?

I'll certainly agree with that.  Vegas doesn't give a fuck about predicting outcomes.  They care about splitting action and winning the vig no matter the outcome.  And their are plenty of people as evidenced by this forum that would lay points to NFL teams with SEC teams, so why not make them favorites over the lowly Big 10.

LSU losing to Arkansas - FIERCE INTER-CONFERENCE RIVALRY!  THESE TWO TEAMS HATE EACH OTHER!  THEY BRING THEIR A-GAME EVERY TIME THEY PLAY!


The double standard is amazing.  On a neutral field Illinois would manhandle Arkansas just like Wisconsin did last year. 

I watched this same arguement with the same words (expicitive's disregarded) on Mike and Mike just 15 minutes before this went up.

I agreed with Greenburg when he mentioned this.  The Big Ten was highly overrated this year as opposed to SEC play.  This is just one on a laundry list of reasons why this BCS shit needs to go.

Take a look at their schedule and accomplishments and tell me why that team is ranked. Beating Michigan at Home????? Michigan sucks!! The entire conference is a joke and the Buckeyes are the biggest one. They haven't beaten a proven team in years. The only thing they have done of note since Tressel got there was outcoach Larry Coker and D up Miami to the point that the game was close enough to allow the officials to get in the way and give it to OSU*. A hot KSU team in 2003 was reasonable, but that is it. The schedule has fallen their way for years. It didn't in Glendale and you saw what happened.

No, the fact (as I stated) that the Big Ten leads in NFL draftees.  Tom Brady was an example.
