Week 8 Money

Godfather, I can appreciate the fact that you are a true fan of Ohio State and I know this is a tough week for Buckeyes across the country so I won't rub in the loss

I really don't understand how can you possibly think Pryor will be GREAT next season, if you think he is poor now (you said that), then how will he be great next season?  He still won't be able to throw next year my friend, he can run and that is about it, he can't manage a game, he can't make quality decisions, he can't read defenses at all and he can't throw, other than that I guess he is just fine

those are favorites bro, you gotta mix in some doggies as well, it is Week 8 man, doggies are much kinder to the eye right now, at least they are for me, I might even kick out a couple of the favorites I have and go with mostly a dog card

Basically Pryor wanted a shot to go to the NFL by playing for Ohio State because their offense is more of a pro style offense than is Oregon but it is clear he cannot make the right reads right now. IF he would have went to Oregon where that offense is PERFECT for him at the college level I have no doubt he would be producing huge numbers running the ball.

Shouldn't you be on Washington too then?

Curious how you assess that. I'm in no mood to fade Oregon with that Wash defense (if Masoli plays), but would have to think Locker is the better QB, they are at home (a tough place to play at that), and you could argue Sarkisian is > than Kelly.

great question and they would normally qualify enough to interest me, the differences in that game from the KU game

• Oregon isn't coming off an emotional rivalry loss like OU is
• Oregon has had an extra week to prepare for the Husky defense
• Masoli unlike the Mustache QB for OU can make plays with his legs even if the weapons around him don't play well
• the game means just as much to Oregon as it does to Washington

But, Oregon plays USC next week.  Very good chance they are looking ahead and possibly even spent part of their bye week working on USC.

Auburn always plays LSU close, LSU has a lot of problems on the offense still and has not corrected them. I was on IU last week against Illinois and I think they will pull out another win vs NW. GL

 lbcweasie  whahoos had me second guessing but now its time to bet the farm   Oklahoma it is. wahoos truely great break down of the kansas / oklahoma play.  I absolutley see why you are on  kansas and seems right. I just have to stick with my gut on this one as second guessing has led me to looses more times than wins. Maybe i will decrease amount of wager i was planning and i will wait on line as it seems many people will be on ku. Again i appreciate the break down and goodluck.

Wahoo - strongest play on the board IMO? 

Arkansas +6 at Ole Miss. I was born and raised in Arkansas, went to school there, many of my family and friends live in Fayetteville and two of them regularly attend team practices.  Razorbacks are still hungry and anxious to show what they can do and are very focused this week. Their defense is playing *much* better than earlier in the season when they were giving up huge plays all game long (they're very young and the light bulb is finally on) and, anyone who saw the game against Florida would know they had a legitimate shot to beat the Gators on the road.  

Finally, the Nutt factor -- this will ensure no letdown.  Petrino & players reallly want to beat him - should have last year but lost a tight game on a pass interference no-call.  Arkansas is a much better team this year, Ole Miss is not -- virtually no better now than in the 2nd half of the season last year.  Getting 6 points is a gift as the Hogs will win this one straight up.  ML bet is in order.

 

no, I like them, but I don't think I really have a favorite play, when the card is finalized on Friday I will be surprised to lose any plays this week, I love the card and I think I'm going to win them all

and Large Money isn't going to make its way to the forum any longer, too many people are posting "large" on their stuff and I would rather keep those to myself for the rest of the way

well I hope you are correct, I'm not much of an Ole Miss fan and would be okay if they lost all of their games, I like the Arkansas QB much better than the Ole Miss QB as well if you haven't figured that out, I think RM is a true pro prospect, I may end up betting the Hogs as I did set the line at 3 for the game, I just don't like the fact that Arkansas is coming off such a tough defeat
