Crummy week last week going 5-7....37-27 season-to-date.
Observations....UCLA got a break when their number one qb got injured as previously he giftwrapped a touchdown for the Ducks and didn't do much of anything right the whole game....the backup was much better,...the Bruins had numerous opportunities to flog the Ducks, but what seems inevitable these days, some coaching errors and miscues made the game closer than it had any right to be so. Take the points coach when you can get them....totally disagree with 4th down going for it early in the game inside the opponent's ten yard line.
Happy that the line came down for the Badger game. I am on the Bruin train until they make me get off.
Iowa totally pummeled the Huskies....if the Huskies don't wake up and fire their defensive coordinator and bench Demond Williams their season will end, very, very badly.....they could get beat again this week at Purdue and then the year will be officially crashing and burning.
The Gophers win at Washington doesn't look all that impressive after seeing what Iowa did to them......Gophs play Iowa, Indiana, Northwestern and UCLA in 4 out of their next 5 games....
THAT will not go well.
