6 mediocre weeks shot ta hell by one bad week.

Rutgers vs Navy UNDER 53'

So far my only play of the week is this game between FUTURE CONFERENCE RIVALS!

RU's weakness seems to be the secondary and Navy couldn't care less about exploiting your DB issues.

I was hoping the total would be in the 50's. Navy's last 2 games were shootouts but RU's defense is built a little better than S Miss or AF. (At least the 2011 version of AF.)

I think my totals are 4-4 so far this year...dunno and can't find the info at the moment...

It's probably under a pile of mapquest maps and MLS (homes for sale) listings...

The past couple weeks, I've paid more attention to my house hunting. I was able to get lucky in week 5 but working half the effort caught up to me in week 6. At some point, I had to realize that finding the house I'm spending the rest of my life in is more important than the 2011 football season. But it's a close second...

I'm looking at 2 houses tomorrow and it looks like a 50/50 shot that I might finally get to the bidding process of this damn drama. We'll see...

Buying a house becomes pointlessly time-consuming at a point. It's like capping a Sun Belt Conference game.

I'll have some more plays...once I find out who's playing who...

when it comes to house hunting, it's like my wife said to me, "it only takes one." 

When it comes to 0-5, well, that's another story.  Been getting killed the last two weeks.  Absolutely slaughtered playing the pros.  Maybe time to take a break.  I'm so cold and have lost so many games on the last play or two that my head is spinning.

But it's a close second...debatable my friend, you can always buy a new house in 5 years....closing costs make that something to avoid though, congrats buddy one you get it and find one with a nice sized fenced yard for fido and cookouts, and a big tree for shade doesn't hurt...pay pablo the yardman to get the leaves in the fall

Buddy, take this advice with buying a house ... I do own two so I know what I am talking about.

Buy the house in the right market for the right price not neccessarily for the best price because both the owner and the seller want the best price. And it would not be fair for either party.

I think this is the right time to buy one - nice interest rate and good value (price has went down quite a bit). I would have buy one more but it is too risky to own three so I told my wife no more until I can earn 500K a year - LOL

In return for my advice, you play of the week better hit for me :)

We are trying to beat the housing market not the seller. Just like betting and posting here on Covers, we are trying to beat the book not another fellow poster.

skipster; Sorry the year is starting to get rough. I'm not one to say keep plugging away...sometimes a week vacation is just the thing to recharge the battery. (That's the difference between me and a good capper...they'd tell you to cap the games and continue firing away.)

gambling-devil; Good advice & I agree with the comparison you made to Covers. Everything I know about value, I learned from some of the top posters on here. Really, all I want is fair deal and I've already discussed that with my realtor. This is a market where I could screw the home owner but I just wasn't raised that way. Too bad!
Oh..."play of the week"?  Nah...just my "so far the only play of the week." but I know you were kidding....hopefully, no one put their house on the total after reading that...

Miami @ North Carolina OVER 51

Both of these teams can pass the ball...yes even Jacory Harris has 9TD's to 3 INT's. North Carolina has only lost in one fumble in the past 2 games. After tossing 6 INT's in the first 4 games, Bryn Renner hasn't tossed an INT in 2 games. I think NC has proven that the team they were vs Rutgers is in the past.

Both secondaries give up yardage. Their pass efficiency defense numbers are in the bottom half of the stat sheet.

I like the chance for these teams to throw the ball all over the place.

LV doesn't have the QB to attack Cincy's secondary.

On offense, it looks like Cincy's tempo gives the LVIlle defense trouble. Louisville gives up more points to Cincy than they do to any other team (at least looking at the past 2 years...)

Huge difference in turnovers. An early lead by Cincy will be likely to snowball...

Vandy's secondary are ballhawks but I expect Aaron Murray is the best they've seen so far...

Vandy's offense? After stepping up in class, it disappeared. GA's defense should also shut them down. Vandy should be underrated next week vs Army.
