Woohoo! A great week last week. I am currently 1 game over .500 for the year, but am looking to keep up the positive momentum this week.
Ole Miss -3...Say it out loud "the number 4 team in the nation is a 3 point favorite on the road at an unranked team"...then note that Ole Miss played Memphis, had a Bye, and then played a IAA school leading up to this game...They have kept it vanilla to this point but I expect that to change this week...Nutt will have a full bag of tricks in store for this game and I expect OLE Miss to win a shootout 34-27.
Georgia -12.5...This team is battle tested and capable of putting up lots of points...plus Ariz. St. has a long road trip...The Arizona St. O-Line is weak and I think the UGA defense finally steps up...I look for the offense to keep rolling as Ariz. St.'s lofty defensive numbers to this point are a product of their competition...Look for a big blow out here 34-17
Buffalo +2.5...Give me Turner Gill in the points...Temple is awful and shoould be favored to beat no one, let alone the Bulls
LSU -13...Miss St. is improving but LSU is far too talented...LSU has not put it all together quite yet but I feel that they are on the cusp...Nevrtheless, LSU is superior to Miss. St. across the board and at every position...I cant see Miss. St. scoring more than 10 in this game and I can't see the Miss St. Defense holding LSU to less than 28 points...28-10 is a cover
Kent State -8.5...Miami of OH is simply awful...Kent State will have enough Defense to hold Miami down and just enough Offense to get it done and cover...Plus, Miami is so pourous on defense...look for a nice win 27-10
BYU -15...Look for a big bounce back here...BYU is going to come out angry after being trounced last week...CSU hasn't been overly impressive, and that win over Colorado isn't all that special...look for a big blowout here 48-21
Michigan -21...Michigan isexcellent and while IU is 3-0 they have eaten cupcakes for 3 straight weeks and two of those wins were by 1 possession...meanwhile the Wolverines have impressed week in and week out...Looking for another Michigan blowout here...45-14
