Tappy, Dabo said after they got the 8 point lead that a punt was a good play. There was no need to push the issue, you think this offense isn't going to get better? Okay.

Tulane gave Navy all they could handle, I told someone about that one through the private message system, they know who they are, he basically laughed at (can't blame him), who ever picks Tulane??

Video or it never happened.   As you note, nobody ever picks Tulane (except, perhaps, the folks who drove the line down 4.5 points).  Hell, maybe 'Hoos did that all by himself.  Been known to happen.

    Hawg....
My one counterpoint would be that teams tend to start fast at home... the adrenaline of home combined with nerves of visitor can produce big leads early.... 2nd half adjustments by Louisville combined with couple mistakes changed the game.... Bit Clemson wont be at home this time and those factors that worked in their favor will now be working against them.....

What is it about Tide fans that makes them take extreme offense to an unbiased person not slurping their team? Weird. World doesn't revolve around Tuscaloosa.

    My man.

This has to be among the biggest breakdown of a single team in college football history........They started out the 2016 season  dominating, 6-0  AVG 40+ points per game then completely fall apart and have not won a game since......As much psych as anything else...........They even lost to FCS Liberty.

Dont know how anybody can take them on the road at Duke this week at be comfortable

I am also on the Badgers this week.......This is the best offense WI has had in 5+ years.....Their QB Alex Hornibrook can throw the ball if needed.....Putting him through the fire as a FR last season against a brutal schedule will payoff in big games this year..........Their defense has dropped off a notch from last season but its plenty strong enough to keep BYU in check..........You can go ahead and put WI in your top 10.

As stated AU's OL sucks.  As far as the QB being awful, they should look up his athletic history.  He's a thoroughbred.  If he is given time to throw the ball and not run for his life you will see the AU offense click.

With all that being said, my first pick of the week will  be Tenn +5.

So far season standings 2 and 1

    ODU- W
    AU UNDER-W
    OK/OSU OVER-L

Hey Wahoo..not sure if you remember me man but my username used to be Meteor. We used to chat it up back in the day...I didn't log in for years and somehow my username turned into something screwy lol.

Glad to see you're still around. I took a long break from gambling after I turned $100 into 30K (not shitting you either) in one season in hockey...then moved overseas for work, got out my rhythm and promptly lost 18k of it in 3 weeks before cashing out and quitting. Getting back into it this season though so going to play some college ball this weekend.

    I bet this one:

Clemson -3...I read your comments on this one. I know if Louisville are ever going to beat them it's going to be this weekend, but I had to lay. the low number on that defence. I watched the Cardinals last weekend and the QB is an all timer, but their D is weak. So taking what I think is the more balanced team.

Wanna play one more game and considering the below. Thoughts?

Duke -14...the very idea I'm considering laying 14 points on a Duke team not led by coach K is Twilight zone garbage, but WTF happened to Baylor? They lost at home to 2 Pee Wee teams.

Wake -13.5...an anti Utah State on the road play plus an improving team and good D; but not sure about Wake laying DD yet

Wyoming +13.5...great home dog against shitty road fav + altitude. I think that Wyoming QB although hasn't looked great so far could put up some points on Oregon at home

    Cheers man

Im not sure about how "weak" the Louisville defense is. They are very solid against the run. If Louisville clamps down the run, can the young Clemson QB make the throws on the road to beat them? thats really the question isnt it? because Lamar Jackson put up 36 on Clemson in Death Valley last year..... It took 42 points from Watson and a loaded Clemson offense to win..... even then.... Jackson made the play to give his team a chance at the end but his reciever stepped out of bounds one yard short of first down.... Louisville defense doesnt have to be as good as last year to win this game because the Clemson offense definitely isnt as good as last years

I definitely remember you bro, you were one of the best we had for many years

    my thoughts on your games

I have Clemson as the top team in the country since they are defending champs and have an unreal defense, however I think this is a tough spot this week, Louisiville isn't as good as they were at the time these two played last year, really though Ville was the better team at the time of that game but Clemson so many beneficial calls and were able to retake the lead, as the season went on Ville showed flaws on their offensive line and Clemson ended up being the nations top team

Lamar has added a much better passing game this year, he looks like a better player than he was last year, Louisville wasn't going to run on Clemson anyhow so LJ will need a great game with his arm and his scramble ability

my LEAN is Louisville in this game because Clemson just played a very physical Auburn team in a huge night atmosphere and now have to hit the road against a team with revenge angle, I personally am hesitant to bet Ville because they still make awful mistakes, dumb penalties (10 false starts in a game), Bobby can coach but his team is weak on special teams (kickoff returns) and they tend to beat themselves in the biggest games, for that reason I'm hesitant to bet the game, I think the spot favors Louisville big time though

agree with your lean on Duke, that is the only way I could see anyone betting that game, Baylor is simply pathetic and those players have no desire to play for Rhule, you can't have their talent and lose to Liberty & UTSA if you actually care, Duke is well coached and should win this game comfortably, not sure on score but I'd say 34-16 or so

Wake is improved and I like their team but not sure I'm ready to lay that double digit line with them just yet, maybe a good one to wait on 2nd half, the Utah St defense can throw some exotic looks at you and it can take time to adjust, no real opinion on this game so can't really help you

Wyoming is an amazing home dog, just look at their results last year, think they won all games outright from my memory (without actually looking it up), they should score on Oregon but will need turnovers to keep pace I'd imagine, Wyoming doesn't have defensive talent to stop Oregon that this may be a nail biter but if the Wyoming QB plays to his talent level then you may have a great game, Oregon's offense looked to me vs Nebraska in the first half so you need to avoid that quick start and match scores if you have Wyoming

thanks for the post and great to see you around Meteor (sorry, can't call you that new name)

yes sir, glad you won, BYU is auto fade, worst offense they have had in many many years, coaching staff has zero clue out there in Provo, they should get drummed this week against Wisconsin who will wear them down physically and run away

General Wizdom....good poins man; I guess for me bottom line is Louisville are still giving up a lot of points, and I like Clemson in the trenches here. Agree will not at all be shocked to see Louisville take it but I'm going to roll with D over O here. It's an approach that's generally treated me well so we'll see what happens.

Wahoo...haha yeah I guess my account was so old it got recycled or something. Anyways thanks for the great insight. Agree on Wake which were my thoughts as well. Baylor looks horrible but something in me also wants to see them against a real team and see what happens first, and I'd feel better if they were starting Solomon again.  Oregon O is scary but Laramie is a tough place for road teams to cover and I wonder if this is a good spot for Josh Allen to show what he's made of. Gonna stick with the one bet for now and wait things out.

I'm with ya bro! I'm on Clemson this week.. If LJ was an unknown or up and comer, yeah UL could bust em up. But Venables is one of the best DC's in the game and will have a plan to "slow" LJ down a bit.. on the flip side UL will be hard pressed to stop this Clemson run game and cover their WR.. I think if mistakes are made it will be from UL trying to much. LJ is a freak nasty savage! But there's just to much hype on him for this game. This smells like not only a covers blood bath, but a national blood bath. Good Luck buddy!

What do y'all think about Arizona -23 @ UTEP...they were already one of the worst teams in the nation and now their starting QB is out after losing at home to Rice, 34-17....
