I've been following these forums for a couple years now and decided I'd post my plays so that I could get a little input (like/dislike)
8-5 ytd
Nevada -3... I feel like they're a far better team than Colorado State, like the price
UTEP -13.5... They're much better than they've looked thus far and I think New Mexico St. is just what the doctor ordered.
Minnesota +14... I actually have Cal as one of my sleeper teams for the NC this year, but 14 on the road seems a little steep.
W. Michigan -17.5... W. Mich got throttled by Mich and lost a close one to a not very good Indiana team, but both games were on the road and now they're playing Miami OH, a team that still has yet to score a point this season, at home. W. Mich by 3 TD's+
Colorado -7 (that's right, even after their first 2 games)...Colorado has looked AWFUL their first two games, but it's now or never for Hawkins (though it might already be too late) and Colorado is a far more talented team than Wyoming, I'll take CU minus the points and pray that they pull their heads out before Saturday.
I don't usually play so much chalk, making an exception this week though. Let me know what you think.

Like Nevada alot. Might be one of my bigger plays. I think you are on the right side taking Minnesota. By the right side I mean against a heavy, heavy public favorite. That being said though, Cal is pretty tough and could easily put this team to the woodshed. No play for me there, but like your angle.

I basically agree with all of them, though I may not play them all.
I'm on Western for basically the same reasons you are. I don't know if it's possible for a team to want the season to be over in Week Three, but you'd have to think a few Miami players have already considered that prospect. Of course, I'll need to check the schedule to see if this is one of the games being thrown in the MAC this year.
I also agree on UTEP. For reasons not entirely clear, I've seen the better part of both of their games, and I think they aren't as bad as people might think. NMSU might not sniff another win this year.
I agree on Colorado. The line on this game would have been, what, 23, when the year started? If Hawkins doesn't win this one by 7, he might as well just drive to the airport.
CSU beats me like a drum, so I'll let you have that. I also don't really feel like betting a team that I don't think is very good (Minny) against a team that I think is very good (Cal), but I understand the play.
