A close call with VaTech but another payout for me. I am going to try to make it 3 for 3 this week with my 4 game teaser picks.
East Carolina +8
This game will be a shootout but East Carolina will score a lot and become bowl eligible in Birmingham. It is a rebound game for both schools coming off embarrassing losses. East Carolina has more to prove and more offense.
Utah +1/2
The truefreshman quarterback gets the start for the Irish. Rees has completed 61% for 4 touchdowns so far this year. However he threw 3 picks to Tulsa two weeks ago. Utah is the better team and should win outright by double digits even though they are coming off a big loss and the Irish had a bye.
Florida -1/2
Spurrier comes back to the swamp looking to beat his old team and take his new team to Atlanta. However, South Carolina has given up the ghost since upsetting Alabama.
5 reasons Florida wins:
Florida has more momentum and are playing at home.
Marcus Lattimore may not be 100% and is facing a Florida defense that will be ready for the run.
The Stephen Garcia factor: 2 TD 3 INT in last 2 games.
History - Florida + SEC East = Atlanta
Urban Meyer > Steve Spurrier at this stage in their careers.
Marshall -11
I will take any team at home, the 6 points, and a lousy Memphis. Marshall played inspired football against UAB and needs to win out to finish 6-6.
Memphis is averaging 14.2 points for and 42.4 points against. Both are good enough for 119th in the FBS.

I still do not agree with the talking heads picking Notre Dame. However, the Florida pick is making me nervous. I am starting to think I should have teased Stanford.
