Liberty Flames +6.5
Revenge from last years beat down. That JMU team went to the playoffs, this one will not.
West Virginia Mountaineers -20.5
Coastal is starting over. Bringing in Morgan St HC, and his QB. They return zero offensive lineman, so there will be zero continuity on that line early and that's a problem against a Big 12 team. Pat White is being honored so its a white out too.
Bryant Bulldogs +37.5
Army runs the ball every play. The clock never stops. They have drives that take 10 mins and end in 3 points. Asking them to beat a team by 6 possessions is a huge ask, I don't care how bad the opponent is.
Boston College Eagles +7.5
Cincy is replacing its entire defense, including its coordinator who will be implementing a completely different scheme. They also have a new QB, all new backfield, and majority of their wideouts are new. Bill O'Brien is calling his own offensive plays this year, and the man spent many years in the NFL. He knows what he's doing. He overhauled his roster through the portal. They will be better.
Baylor/Auburn Over 58.5
DJ Lagway transfers to Baylor from Florida, and by all accounts, ready to chuck it around in the air raid offense that Baylor is running. He's a dual threat so keeping plays alive with his legs will keep drives alive. Same goes for Auburn and their QB who followed his coach from USF. This game is in Atlanta so don't have to worry about the heat taking its toll either.
Marshall Thundering Herd +23.5
The Matt Campbell era begins in Happy Valley, but it's essentially Iowa St from last year, wearing different uniforms. They will play great defense, but their offense will get stagnant. Asking them to win by 4 possessions is a HUGE ask vs an experienced Marshall team.
Oregon Ducks -24.5
Dan Lanning loves to put it on teams early in the year and collect as many style points as he can. He'll get to do it often with the offense he has this year. Boise isn't the Boise of old. Kinda ho-hum for me this year.
Oklahoma St/Tulsa Over 59.5
Oklahoma St has no defense to speak of, and Tulsas is super young. Neither should be able to stop the other very often.
Night games later
