Bowl record: 1-0

The one thing the Bears struggle with is a passing offense and Utah is not that...they rank 55th in pass offense.  In fact, I'm not sure they even know who's starting....Cain or Wynn.  I sure hope they start Wynn only because it will take away the dual threat of Cain, but either way I don't think it will be enough.  Also, Utah is not battle tested.  They've face 5 opponents with a recored above .500 and they are 1-4 ATS.

Also, do not be concerned with Best not playing. Please believe that there is not much drop off with Shane Vereen.  He will be known after this game.

People may call this a homer pick....oh well...I believe I'm 4-1 in CAL games and I've faded them more than bet them so be it.  Give me the unranked team giving pts to the ranked team in this spot.

Good write up Cal......BUT.....Cal didn't finish the season very stellar either.

Should be a good game, I love Cal being from Santa Cruz, but need to read a lot more about Utah.  BOL with Cal.

You damn homer.. I am leaning that way also, Cal usually brings it in bowl games, as does Utah, but I think Cal is the play here..Might put a little on the over 52, especially if it falls anymore..

Wynn is the starter....utes  seem to be the popular pick....but agree this is one where you bite the bullet and take the favorite......BECAUSE....utah just not very good

cal stunk it up at times ...but still beat two very good teams (late) ....in zona and stanford...(these 2 would spank utah)

utes played WEAKASS schedule.....played poorly on the road (exception >  a byu team sleepwalking thru conf schedule) ....down 17-3 to col st late in 3rd.....struggled with san jose st.....killed by frogs....(road games)......lucky to beat unlv

although the media would have you believe the talent levels are about equal for these 2 teams.....NOT TRUE.....bears much more talented.....question is will they dial it up ?....should win by 10-14 pts...although certainly no big shock if utes figure out a way to keep it closer..

* side note.....utes HEAVILY penalized on the road.....

I sure hope the Bears can play a little defense...I would love to see them pull this one out in a lower scoring game which I believe will happen. Have a good one buddy.

Cal is not underrated. Look what happens when they play teams like USC and Oregon, there is not contest. They did beat Stanford but almost lost to a horrible ASU team and got pummeled by the shitty Washington Huskies. BE careful with this one.

Never know what you gonna get from the Bears, but I agree they are the more talented team and should win this game.
