What do Auburn and Oregon have in common?

both lost @ HOME as 24 point HOME FAVORITES

This is absolutely asinine


Oregon jumps FSU

FSU hasn't lost a game since 2012........................


Essentially any loss in the SEC is " forgiven and washed away "

Auburn lost to A&M as a 24 point favorite.... I cant stress that enough!!!!!!!! How are these guys in the top 10 still??????????


LSU a 3 loss team as high as #17???????? Has anyone seen these guys play? A nice team...nothing special. They dont have a QB on the roster that can throw a forward pass.









LAST but not least.......... any poll that has a 8-1 TCU team ahead of a 8-1 Baylor team is simply not paying attention.

Where's Marshall at #25?

I said from the start Boom there was 1 major problem with this selection committee... I'm not on it. Hell guys like us Boom who watch from Noon-2AM every Saturday there's no one like us there. We know who's good and who's overrated. Instead we get Condi Rice

wait a sec...why reward florida state?  they havent played one another
head to head is a tie breaker...baylor has played hs teams on their path.  Kudos to the committee for sending a message.  If you want to be in the group, schedule

i mean to say that florida state hasnt played anyone....its all a moot point bc they lose to miami this weekend

again there is no one like us who follow the sport on that committee. Its a bunch of people who sit in deer blinds covered in deer urine who look at final scores

personally boom...i think wisconsin is going to be interesting after they take care of nebraska and then take care of ohio state in the big 10 championship game...maybe they dont get to the top 4 but if i would put them up against most teams on there

Who Cares..If Oregon is 2, 3, or 4 today and ahead of FSU.  They win out they are in and same with FSU.  Rankings as of today means nothing.

here is what I have gathered so far with this committee....after a few weeks


1. A SEC loss only counts like a half loss
2. Head to head doesn't matter
3. They use words like " criteria "..but yet they speak out of both sides of their mouths

tcu beat oklahoma who was #4, west va who whooped baylor, in baylor, whooped okla st as #15 and blew a baylor game up 21 in baylor...u cannot compare florida st sched to tcu

you're right... but it actually does matter

In college football more than any other sport... perception is reality

and at the end of the day, that's all that matters.


The fact that we can have a team like FSU ( who has been proven )..............who hasnt lost since the YEAR 2012 can be bumped down is asinine

wrong.... that game was played in morgantown

and yes, you can compare the 2 schedules

You are correct sir.

I am not an FSU fan, but the champs are the champs until someone beats them.  They should be the token #1.

Oregon is soft.

Miss State is unproven.

TCU cannot be ranked over a team that beat them.

Garbage top 4, and it has the ability to get much worse.

Your theory is the same as Miss St being #1 over FSU.  Since FSU is "proven" since 2012 so they should have been #1 instead of Miss State.   Heck they could of put ASU @ #3 or #4 and it means absolute squat today, however if they win they will be in and have earned it.

you are just fighting for the sake of it if you seriously say u can compare the schedules of florida state to tcu....and baylor doesnt pass the test here bc tcu has been far more impressive to date.  t is all water under the bridge though...these teams will have their say for the most part.  Sorry but the ACC is the worst power division

Oregon lost to an unbeaten, top 15 ranked team, Auburn lost to an unranked team........there is a difference, whether it's big or not.

i think most would agree with me. Florida State happens to play in a weak division, and has been less than impressive to date.  The committee doesnt consider previous years in their playoff analysis.  TCU has the more difficult conference, schedule, and has been more impressive on the field to date.  Why is that so hard to comprehend?

Arizona was not ranked when they beat Oregon....Oregon was -24 in that game
