So I'm not here to gloat or boast, just here to help so I'll get right to it. The public is ALL OVER Boston College out here and why not, right? Vanderbilt limped into the bowl season, just barely making it, while losing the majority of their games after starting 5-0. So why would anyone back Vanderbilt?
The reason is very simple, b/c the public is backing Boston College. The line has gone up to a respectable 6 points now and money keeps coming in on BC, which makes it hard to not adjust the number. But keep in mind that Vanderbilt got a gift by playing approximately 5 miles from their campus in Nashville. And, historically, teams that have played close to home are not almost ALWAYS sure to cover, but they win most of these games outright.
Personally i see Vanderbilt's stingy D keeping the BC offense close, and the same being said for the defensive side of BC and offensive of Vandy. For that reason, if I were playing the game, I'd side with Vegas (always good to do so) and take the points in what should be a relatively low scoring and good football game.
As always, good luck to all and I hope this helps....

I live in Summerlin and have access to the JW Marriott, Suncoast and Red Rock sportsbooks within 5 minutes of my house. Just got back and locked in Vandy +5.5 and LSU +5.
Agree with you on this one.

Vanderbilt is looking good right now, lot of game left so anything is possible. Though i like the pace of the game and think this might come down to the 4th quarter. Pretty much how it's been capped all along. Home team (Vanderbilt) in a defensive struggle with the better team (BC). Lots of running should see this game stay well UNDER and I'm thinking Vanderbilt might even pull out a S.U. victory. Anyways, as they say, time will tell.
Here is an undervalued pick for those of you who care what i have to say. Play the OVER in the Kansas/Minnesota game. Not loads of time to get the play in but didn't know until now that I would have a writeup on that side of the game.

Ha ha ha!!! I just got home and saw your post, called my guy and asked if he would take it and he said the game had started but he didn't know the score. I didnt either because it is on the damn NFL network. He eventually just said ok.
Then I went online and saw the two early TD's. Sweet.
Thanks buddy.

Got lucky with OSU -1 earlier. (see in game thread) Vandy did not let me down either. Now just waiting for LSU to take care of business.

The Gtech game is a tough one. We were just talking about it here in the casino. Most of the action is on Gtech, in fact an insane amount of money is on Gtech. But if you look at both teams, not sure why that is. LSU is playing essentially a road game but is a neighboring state for all intents and purposes. They travel well and have a much larger following than the home Yellow Jackets. I don't expect home field to be any sort of issue here.
Loads of people on Gtech, means take the points and LSU. This game should be close and I'm thinking sort of high scoring, though young QB should have the coaches running the ball, meaning clock time will wane. I would lean LSU in this game.
But if you really want to profit, play the Philadelphia 76ers in the NBA. Clippers without Randolph and coming home after a tough road loss last night. No motivation to play on NYE and I think they will flop over and die. Nothing is certain that's just my angle.
