Well, mainly. I'll start off with a few favorites.
Notre Dame -14 Air Force.
The Falcons are coming off a hard fought win over the Middies. Notre Dame is starting to put it together under Kelly. I realize Air Force could take the air out of the ball with their triple option attack, but the superior athletes and a clicking Irish O make the difference.
Arizona -2 Oregon State
I had OSU last week, betting that ASU would come out flat after beating USC for the first time in 11 years. They did ,and any team would have won that game straight up. Well, any team other than the Beavers. Mannion is struggling and I don't see him getting that much better this week, even at home. I'll go with the better QB (Foles) and the 1 dimensional Arizona O here.
Texas +10 1/2 Oklahoma
A lot of points to be laying in this rivalry. Texas has looked better, and the QB change has made a huge difference. I expect a close one here.
Boston College +21 Clemson
Is Clemson good? Yes. Is BC horrible? Yes. But Clemson has had what, 3 high profile games in a row? I got burned betting against the Tigers last week. Well, I'm back for more. I'm betting on a letdown here and BC does just enough on O for the cover.
Colorado +29 1/2 Stanford
Yes the Cardinal have Andrew Luck, but these spreads are creeping higher and higher. I'm not sold on the D they're running out there on the Farm, and they have NO homefield advantage, at all. UCLA would have covered last week if their D didn't lay down in the final minutes. The time to fade Stanford is here. Colorado can score enough for the cover.
Rutgers +7 Pittsburgh
Pittsburgh coming off a big win vs. S. Florida on national TV Thursday night. I think Rutgers keeps this one close as a home dog.
E. Michigan +21 Toledo
I just think Toledo is overvalued here, coming off that big win over Temple last week.
Might have some more plays later. Best of luck to everybody this weekend.
Woof.
