Somebody with sense explain to me Why FL ST. is favored by so much vs Auburn

I'm on this all day. I've heard as high as FL ST -9.5. Way out of whack in my opinion. I think it will move toward Auburn. I know why they set the lines where they do to get equal bets on both sides and they don't really care who will win by how much as long as they get the same bets on each side. So that is how we make money folks, figuring out when the line is out of whack. I think Auburn takes this by 10. Malzahn has so much time to prepare and he is one of the very best at making the proper adjustments. He will have a game plan that will blow FL STs defense's minds. The weakness here is Auburns defense. Hopefully with all this time they will be healthy and be prepared. They won't stop FL St, they just need to keep them in check so the offense can do it's thing. MALZAHN should be coach of the year.

If Bama had a kicker that knew how to kick a field goal, the game is not in doubt. FSU has one of the best kickers in the nations
The great Auburn offense has been shut down several times this seasons. See Washington State, Miss State, Ole Miss, LSU, 2nd half of the Georgia game. FSU is on pace to set the NCAA record for points in a season (they need 28 pts to break the record). The lowest offensive output on the season has been 37 points.
FSU has the athletes to commit extra players to stopping the run and leaving their DBs to cover Auburn WRs 1-1. Mario Edwards will set the edge. The LBs and Safeties are sure tacklers. If Auburn is in 3rd and 5 or longer....it's game over
How will Auburn stop FSU's offense? Are they going to blitz the hell out of Jameis? Jameis is one of the best QBs versus the blitz. Go look at his production on 3rd and ten or longer....
FSU is going to score 40 in this game.....will Auburn?

I have talked with at least 10 people and ALL like FL. ST!!!!....Added to this is the fact that Heisman winners usually don't perform well in bowls, and Winston will win this, I see Auburn winning outright..It's just the end to a magical, storybook season....No stats, no weather, no coaching advantage, no weaknesses.etc., Throw it ALL out.... It's just plain and simple, It's Auburn's year!!!!....Case closed!!!!,,,,I'll pound Auburn when I get the highest line, PLUS take them on the ML....Easy money!!!....FL. ST. LOSES FIRST ONE!!!!,

Who would have Fsu lost to? Auburn needed a miracle to beat a depleted UGA. The same UGA that lowly Clemson beat when the bulldogs were healthy. Texas a&m? The team that didn't beat a ranked team all year? Miss state? Who auburn needed a touchdown with less than 30 seconds to beat?
Jimbo Fisher is 4-1 vs the vaunted SEC. They have more talent than any team in the country. Go look at any draft projections

Bighungrynole, I went and looked at the draft projections and for some reason I don't see a single Florida St player in the projected first round. I did however find a Florida player, maybe they messed up and meant to put Florida st. #delusional #ACC #makesmyplayerslookbetterthantheyare

Ridiculous. So if they played an FCS schedule and destroyed them then thats a sign of a great team? 5 teams with 4 or less wins, 1 FCS team, 2 .500 teams and 2 teams only 1 game over .500.
FSU can go out and destroy AU as well, but it's much more likely that AU stays within the number and has a chance to win.

People are just living off past reputation and not really seeing how much a well oiled macing FSU is. If they were in the SEC they would still be undefeated this season. Would they demolish everybody by 50? No, but they would have still won every game THIS YEAR. If you even really look at them they are built up just like an SEC team half their coaching staff is from the SEC and Head Coach was Nick Saban's understudy. If you actually use the eye test you can see this team is legit as they come.

The eye test? Right? They looked great while beating up on Bethune Cookman, Nevada, Syracuse, Idaho, etc... The eyes can be deceived.

Added to this is the fact that Heisman winners usually don't perform well in bowls

So you saying they would loose to Georgia, Tennessee, Miss State, Vandy, Kentucky??
This debate with this team is just as dumb "since Team A lost to team B, and team C beat team B, team A will loose to team C"
I can see if they were barely getting by their opponents, and having all kinds of chinks in their armor, but they are doing what they are supposed to go in and do every week. So what would SEC schools scores be vs Florida State's schedule?
