.... the cover plus the points was on until the Tebow show busted out in the 4th quarter and won 31 to 20. making my stomach hurt and my pocket lighter. It sucked to see the Gators get so jacked in the end and I was on the boring team at the end of the game.
Anyways.....
The point Im trying to make is that I was in a sports bar at Planet Hollywood watching these two SEC power houses go at it as two sets of fans cheered from each table.. Gators and Tide!
Gator fans were loose, hyped, looking really confident about their chances of not just winning... but covering that damn spread....They screamed louder, cheered louder, looked really fun to be over there but I couldnt because I was on the Tide
Bama fans were tight, kinda nervous, not really partying as much the whole fucking game. Just kinda hoping they can hang on. It kinda bored me to have all that cash on Bama not to mention they dont cover at the end. Which sucked ASS so bad..
Guess what I'm trying to say..
I go with Florida this year right and not make it Ground Hogs Day.. Party with the Gator fans and not be a donkey and see Bill Murry wake up again and turn off his alarm clock.
right???????
feedback would help..
i know its a fukin boring post but, what would you do?

I too had the wrong side of that one last year. Every instinct I had told me to take Fla, but I listened to a bud that was on a hot streak - He Liked Bama.
SO unless you wanna be called Bill....

i know only few posts, so i suck at life apparently as people try to tell me because of how many few posts i have. agree w me or don't, makes no difference to me really. i've been an sec fan all my life, think its the best/toughest conference in the nation. i won't have my own thread for this and i will only put this once, on your thread. i've watched both teams play several times this year which i think is key when making a pick as opposed to some who pick with statistics and past matchups....etc. last yr florida played very strong offensively, enough so that you would think their offense was better last year. one difference, last yr they were playing to be number 1, this yr IMO they have tried to stay # 1 which is tough, and most teams can't do it for a whole season. Florida knew to stay # 1 being there preseason they pretty much would have to win every game to make it to the championship. win, not kill people but win and they have done so. If you take there schedule in to this they never really had to get up for any game because they knew they would win. period. the only game they seemed to get up for and beat the crap out of was georgia and that was due to a much hated rivalry there for the past few yrs. Now that we are at the end of the season, this is exactly what they have wanted, still # 1, no losses and time to show the nation what is up with UF football. Now we look to Alabama who again being a sec fan, i like, i want an sec team to win the championship and prove yet again that the sec is the toughest conference out there. Alabama has close wins over Virginia Tech, Tn, and Auburn in which besides alburn i thought they played terrible. when florida had "A" close game against Arkansas I thought arkansas played great, not that Florida played down but Arkansas played up. Alabama is lucky IMO to even be in the position they are to possibly play for a championship title. I know like everyone else in the country that anything and everything can happen in college football, would i bet my home and wife on this game, hell no, but its just one of those feelings you get every once in a while, very rarely that you have confidence in everything you say and do about what your talking about. Will be my biggest play of the year. Tim Tebow and the Florida Gators right now, right now, not next year, but right now are a team that i feel more confident in than any other team in any sport that i can think of to this date. they are on a mission and Tebow is leading them. their mission is another national championship and they will get it. They will not lose to Alabama. Alabama is outmatched player wise and blah blah blah about saban, outcoached in THIS game. Florida Gators win by 10+ and ultimately win the National Championship. mark it down, remember this, u don't go against Tebow and Florida Gators this year, not this year. They will complete their mission. i am open to any opinions and comments but make sure your still there to talk to me after this game. Fla -5 thank me later

Someone posted at the beginning of the week that both teams basically remain the same as last year with Florida losing Harvin and Bama losing one key player, I forgot who...my question to the Florida's backers is if both teams are basically the same, Bama struggled against Auburn, Florida dominated FSU, don't you guys think the line is a bit low? I think it should be at least around 7 since they did give 10 last year.

Well Richard.... Alabama had 2 NFL O-linemen on their team and they lost them to the draft. One was Andre Smith and the other I do not remember. They also lost Glen Coffee who they dont appear to be missing at all. They also lost John Parker Wilson.
