Come on guys. I don't like Saban anymore than anyone else but you whiners are grasping at straws here. It's not like this was a Sept home game against a defenseless North Texas team. This was the National Championship game against a very capable Texas team. Texas doesn't need you looking out for them or feeling sorry for them. Dive plays against the #1 rushing defense in the country. Poor Texas.

It's full of a lot of biased dumb asses from the south. Bama kneels it, and they win. Doing what they did, they could have fumbled, etc.

Saban was embarassed that it took that much to beat Texas.

I didn't know that Texas was that inferior of a team. A double digit victory of a "clearly inferior" undefeated and #2 ranked team. How embarrassing!

It was a slap in the face to Mack Brown and the Texas program. That team played Bama tough with their true freshman QB. Saban damn sure could've knelt the ball and ran the clock out....and yes they could have run it out easily. There was a little over a minute left on 2nd down. Texas had a timeout, but wouldn't have bothered calling it in that situation. It would've been a sign of sportsmanship, but Saban is a classless coach working in a classless program. You're up by 10 yet you risk a fumble by handing the ball off and run the score up.

I'm shocked at the number of people defending the final td score. It says tons about the character of the coach, the school, maybe even the state, and clearly here - it's fans.

And thanks for doing the math, but if you think M Brown wouldve used the last timeout, saban has polluted your mind as to the thinking of a CFB coach.

It was obvious that Texas wasn't going to use that timeout. Truth is that Nick knew Mack had the Horns in a 10 point teaser and he wanted to screw that up.
