Tulsa and Oklahoma didn't play each other last year, they played in 2005, that year Brett Rohmar started for Oklahoma. That was early on in the season, Rohmar wasn't very effective and Oklahoma's D was young.
That same team has matured on defense and what is arguably the best defense in the Big 12. Reggie Smith is a shut down CB. Oklahoma's defense will be very good this year. Their offensive line is really good, they are averaging nearly 6 yds a carry netting 724 yds a game. Their passing attack has just been effective with Sam Bradford starting terrific for them. Almost 80% completion rate.
I am not an Oklahoma fan, Nebraska fan actually and follow a lot of the Big 12.
I like Oklahoma here at 23.

yeah i'll admit oklahoma wasn't very good in 05 campaign they didn't have a quarterback to him peterson out. but their defense wasn't that young and unexperience. they just wored down for being on the field for to long. But that season started off with a lost to TCU in the opener. Oklahoma is by far the superior team but in college football that can mean two things being overconfident or blowout city. either way laying 24 is alot away especially when you got a pretty good senior quaterback passing against you. If tulsa o-line can hold up expect this game be be alot closer than you think. honestly i have no play i was heavily leaning towards tulsa and the under might make a play on the over though. I see tulsa taking alot of chances and going for it on fourth downs alot tonight if they have the ball on the sooners side of the field.
