As much as people want to believe that Tulsa will be competitive in this game, they will not. Tulsa doesn't see teams of this caliber very often. I know it looks almost easy to take the 3+ TD, sit on the couch on a Friday night and root in the home doggie, but it ain't happening here. IMO, this one gets Ugly early.

OU THAT mich better than BYU? Really? Maybe. I doubt it. Indeed, at the close of last season, BYU was rated ahead of OU in most power ratings. Now, three games in - three games in which BYU has out-statted its opponants, while OU has beaten up on two of the worst programs in D-1 - that's turned around an awful lot.
There are some other reasons I don't love Tulsa here, but I think the idea that OU represents something just worlds different from the team Tulsa just beat is a little off base.

In a word YES!!!
OU is bigger and faster than BYU on both sides of the ball. They are a step up from everyone else Tulsa will play all year.

I guess you've slept thru the first 3 games this year, because the big change has been Sam Bradford. Including OU's game against the Canes, the freshman is 59 of 74 for 823 yards, 11 TDs and only 1 INT. I don't care who you play...an 80% completion rate is phenomenal. On top of that, I think OU running backs are averaging 6-7 ypc combined.
I hope you're watching the Miami game right now. The Canes aren't a bad team (considering they're spanking A&M 24-0 at the half), and they got crushed by Oklahoma. I think OU will silence all the doubters on Friday night. Talk about some horrible power rankings. BYU is not the same team without Beck at the helm, so needless to say, they're not as good as last year. BYU's defense isn't even close to OU's...it's like apples and oranges.

Tulsa and Oklahoma didn't play each other last year, they played in 2005, that year Brett Rohmar started for Oklahoma. That was early on in the season, Rohmar wasn't very effective and Oklahoma's D was young.
That same team has matured on defense and what is arguably the best defense in the Big 12. Reggie Smith is a shut down CB. Oklahoma's defense will be very good this year. Their offensive line is really good, they are averaging nearly 6 yds a carry netting 724 yds a game. Their passing attack has just been effective with Sam Bradford starting terrific for them. Almost 80% completion rate.
I am not an Oklahoma fan, Nebraska fan actually and follow a lot of the Big 12.
I like Oklahoma here at 23.
