Anybody have a good read on this team for the fall? I see 30/1 and think they can be a top 4 playoff team. Obviously getting Ohio St in Oregon will be daunting but outside of that i see potentially all winnable games. Obviously Clemson and probably Bama will be 2 teams in, but who are the other two? My future leans are Florida, Oregon, Texas, Penn St, Georgia. thanks guys

Just a casual fan that bet on them a couple of times last year this is how I see their season, they have 2 games that are going to determine were they're playing at the end of the season both at home. The one you mentioned Ohio St. and USC. They might actually have to play USC twice. They will have to at least split those two to have a chance. PAC 12 teams usually don't get the benefit of doubt when it comes to rankings so how they perform against the Buckeyes will be a major factor in were they are standing at the end of the year. Most of their defense is back but offense they have replace some linemen, which some of the replacements have had playing time so that helps a little and QB. It's going to be difficult to replace a 1st round QB, but the guy they have replace him Shough might be a better passer but less of an athlete than Herbert.

Oregon will need to beat Tosu early in the season. lose that game and almost no shot at the playoffs.....They have recruited well last few season.. I just don't think they have the horses to beat Tosu...too much talent....Un proven QB for Oregon...they are a year away from competing for a Natty IMO..
Clemson is a lock...SEC gets 1 team in...B10 will get another team in........

NO, they won't get there. 1st off, they'll at best start a qb with very little game experience. Then they have to replace their entire OL. I'm sure they have some guys that have played but they don't have a bunch of Sr. starters like last year. Lastly, although all their toughest games are at home, they still have to get through the Pac-12 schedule unscathed.......easier said than done. There aren't any dominant teams in the P12 right now, but there aren't many gimmes either. Wazzu is starting over since Leach departed but the rest of them are set. One thing in their favor is a lot of teams are also replacing starting qb's.

If you still like Oregon, you can get them at 50-1 to win CFP at Bet Online. IF (huge IF) Oregon plays football, that's a good value play. I believe the state has already banned mass gatherings through September so we'll see how that impacts football. Florida is another good value play and that pains me to say as a UGA fan. LSU at home and UGA at a neutral site sets up well as their most difficult games. UGA has to play Bama, Auburn, and Florida this year so there's a decent chance UF is headed back to the SECCG which has been essentially a CFP quarterfinal the last few years.

I agree with you here. 50-1 is tremendous value, especially with a stingy D that IMO will be a top5 unit in the country. They get Ohio St in Oregon early september & if they somehow win that, look out.
As a Georgia fan myself, i do like Florida this year as well. Schedule sets up nice but again, that SECCG sets up huge. They almost have to be undefeated going into that game as Bama is always the toughest out. If they are undefeated, both teams go to playoffs (i would think). If get to seccg with a loss, then they will need to pull the upset....lastly, if we think clemson, bama or ohio state will win it all, maybe futures this year aren’t the way to go. I always hedge my futures if they get to championship game but that means oregon or florida would need to win a playoff game most likely vs ohio st, clemson or bama.....

-took Ravens 7/1 hoping they are a top 3 afc team. If so 7/1 come January looks good.
