Seriously does anyone here really think this is going to be a defensive battle tonight ? Nothing is as absolute as it seems in gambiling. Will Iowa have trouble with the triple threat option this seems to be the question everone is trying to answer? I beleive they will do pretty decent against this scheme with the amount of time they have had to prepare. They do have a good defense. That being said G.T should pop some big plays against them with their speed. Plus turnovers and special teams should provide some short feilds for them to score. G.Tech Defense, seems everyone is putting them down and rightfully so do to their past prefomances. However I think they will preform decent especialy early in this game.The time to prepare for Iowa vanilla offense will help. That being said I beleive Iowa will score on this G tech defense which will wear down in the second half. I also look for a trick play out of Iowa to score a TD. The number I came up with in this game was 54 points and I can get it at 49 well sign me up ! I will be looking to pound the over in the second half of this game. That is when I think the real scoring will take place, so I am hoping for 21 points or less in the first half and I will double down on the over in the second half. Look for a wild game tonight in Miami especially the second half.

I agree......GT can give up points to a team with big play potential in the passing game which Iowa has. Secondarily, Iowa's defense has not seen an offensive attack like Tech's all year. You can practice against your 2nd team offense for a month all you want, but they won't run it like the Jackets do. I like the over easy. Best of luck.

One more thing Iowa has played to their level of their competition all year. Both high and low scoring games and has come out on top on been highley competitive all year. I think they will have to keep up With G Tech tonight which will provide a over and interesting game. After last night game 17-10 game,I think the BCS would like a shoot out on national TV tonight !

GTs offense is good nobody will ever question that, but 5 weeks of good coaching and a good defense is a great equalizer in bowls.  Many examples of this during the Bowl season this year and in past years.  I loved watching GT this year.  My best weekend with the book included a large wager on GT ML over Virginia Tech that Saturday.  With that said, I am still a bit of a homer on the Hawks.  I watched about 75% of their snaps this year.  This coaching staff is good.  The offense is shakey at times, but I feel like if they can run the ball with any sucess they will then have success with play action also.  

With that said I like Iowa plus the points.  Small value play on the moneyline. Really like the under here too.  The clock will be running, Iowa's defense will give up 4 or 5 yards a pop but probably not big plays.  The winning team MAY get to 28.
