Oklahoma under 36 Team Points
Is Iowa's Defense great? No. Is Oklahoma's offense great? Was.
Oklahoma is without RB's and 2 of their top 3 receivers coming into the Toilet Bowl game. A team that was #1 and looking for another BCS bowl to blow but instead they are playing Iowa in the Arizona Sewage Bowl.
I think this total is 1 point to high. Oklahoma could very well score and they will, but 5 td's and a FG seems like too much. Landry Jones has struggled since his team hit the injury bug by throwing 5 INT and zero TD's in the past 3 games. This team has put up 10 on OK St, 26 on Iowa St, and 38 on Baylor's awful D. If this team was healthy, no way I would touch this.
Iowa on the other hand comes in excited to play a top notch program. With their D-Cord. retiring, I think the defense will be pysched to get after Oklahoma for him.
If this game gets ugly, hopefully Stoops (an Iowa Grad and good friend of Ferentz) will run the clock out and not try to embarrass the Hawkeyes. Good thing is Ferentz wins bowl games and Stoops well, we all know his history.
