They absolutely were not those teams best effort.  A team, whether they realize it or not, rarely provides their best effort. If they did, there would never be any upsets.

That UCLA/Texas game is a bad game to bring up. Texas had the RRS on deck, lets be realistic.

RJ- saying that my logic is off means ur off, but if u wanna go deeper into this matchup lets go...LY Neb held Tx to a very low score(mccoy!), now this year Tx OFF(worse) Neb OFF(better!), Neb DEF(tite!) Tx DEF(very suspect)...i think a 2 TD victory is very possible here when u add in the element of emotion on the huskers side...

9. Utah- a very very underrated team; last week someone finally noticed their domination; better coaching; talent level about the same

10. Oregon--they would just flat out run the Huskers this game would be out of hand by halftime

 

There are a few others but like I said Neb has played cupcakes and even if they win Saturday they are at home as almost a double digit favorite if they lose then they really suck

Florida would absolutely CRUSH NEBRASKA; wow they have two losses one to Alabama on the road where they had 3 turnovers inside the Bama ten yard line and a loss to LSU who is undefeated where they had 2 of their best players out. They didnt barely lose to SDS at home. I will make a bet to ANYONE on there you name the stakes; NEB doesnt go undefeated the entire year and I wont even include the Bowl Game because if they play anyone decent they get smashed. Actually forget that they lose next week or this week either against Texas or Ok State. BANK IT YOU HOMER.

They are going to be up for this game in NEbraska.  No clue what Gilbert will be able to do but I think this game will be similar to the Red Rive Shootout where Texas will score late to make it close.

 

Im not sure Martinez can move teh ball on Texas's D.

I have thoroughly capped this game. Nebraska will roll in this game.

1. Emotion. They will be absolutely jacked after being cheated out of last years game when Texas was No. 1 and still should have lost. TEXAS SUCKS this year and Neb. is laying in wait. They want to embarrass Tex and have the defense to simply overwhelm a terrible Texas offensive attack.

2. Special Teams. Nebraska is better in every aspects, Kicking, Punts and Returns.

3. Pass defense. Nebraska is statistically ranked no. 1 against the pass. Texas is horrible offensively and a one dimensional attack won't go far against a swarming black shirt defense.

4. Taylor Martinez this guy is a beast. He is getting better with each game. Gilbert is atrocious and even though Martinez is young he is absolutely fearless. He will exploit a Texas defense that is below average.

I like making money vs. losing it. Take Nebraska and lay the 9.5. BOL to all.

...i was right on point when i said Neb would go to UW and smash and all these other cats was like no way...

...i mite have made more on husker games than most...

i remember a couple of years ago when they played USC, and i was all over the trojans, while the so-called great cappers wouldn't even touch it...so here we go again...
