Come home from a BBQ to see I went 3-0-1 in my early games -- only it should've been 4-0. WTF, Georgia Tech??
putting aside the $ that stupid handoff cost us Tech backers (I pushed), there is NO EXCUSE for a coach calling for a handoff in the last :30 seconds of a ballgame where you have a 17 point lead. nothing good can come from it. Argh, I hate stupid coaching.
Late games: Stanford -23 Nebraska -7 Iowa St +9
Early games: Ga Tech -10 Northwestern +10 Texas A&M/Arkansas Over 62 Georgia -6.5 (bought hook)

Not really stupid to hand the ball of either. The odds of a fumble return are minimal and even if it freakishly happens it doesnt matter. At least to Paul Johnson it doesnt. My buddy lost 300 on that game. Brutal.....

7-2-1 overall for Sat 10/1 NCAA action (includes 3 2H plays I hit; posted elsewhere on the site)
Stakkibotris, I know you're right about the statistical probability of a fumble in that scenario, but why risk anything going wrong -- besides a fumble, what if someone gets hurt? I bet if that situation ever comes up again, the Tech QB will take a knee.
good week of games this weekend.
Wisconsin looks tough to beat. I don't see how they don't go undefeated.
I'm officially a believer in Clemson. Team has finally found the resilience to match its talent.
I'm also high on Stanford. They play more Big 10 style than typical Pac-10 football. Only question mark I have with them is lack of playmaking WRs. When your TE is your best pass-catcher, you may have a problem in a shootout.
see you guys in the NFL forum!
