Boom I remember last year when GB went into ATL for that playoff game right when they were firing on all cylinders and ended up blowing the doors off of that overrated Falcons squad. The days leading up to that game I remember being so confident in GB as they were the strongest lean I had had in a while and then when I discovered that not only were you on them but you had a whole thread dedicated to the destruction they were about to bring, I was able to significantly raise my bet on that game with a ton of confidence and ended up cashing an EASY wire to wire winner.
The reason I bring this up is because I kinda have that same warm fuzzy feeling right now about this weeks matchup and I'm nervous that "going back to the well" might end up biting me in the ass this time! I don't want to wait too much longer to lock in on this because I can see this line only climbing further, possibly to 7 by Sunday so I figured I'd try to get some insight from someone that I know has some knowledge on the matter.
So I guess what I'm saying is either talk me off the ledge or just give me a push!
Thanks in advance

yes... that was a good thread last season with the packers I was so confident with them i made tons of money. Hell I made a thread last June telling everyone that they would in fact win the super bowl.
i assume your talking about the Oklahoma game, correct? Yes, IMO they win this game pretty easy.
I will start posting palys in the NFL forum here in a few weeks.

Glad to see you are also on the over in the Oregon-Cali game as I am on it as well.
Don't blame you for waiting a bit on the NFL. I play NFL from week one, but really limit my plays early on. There is some good money to be made there during the second half of the season though.

No I was actually talking about the Sunday night rematch in ATL! I just read something where you said that you don't start in on the NFL for a while so I'm assuming you haven't even capped this game but as a student of the game of football, do you have a take on this game one way or the other from the top of your head? I realize this is a college forum so I apologize in advance for bothering you with this, I just happen to be toying with the idea of making a pretty large play on GB so I wanted to get a second opinion from someone with some knowledge on A. Rodgers and the pack

Losses to : LSU, Georgia, South Carolina....all for sure IMO.
Toss ups with Auburn and FSU.... and to be honest with you, I give the edge to both Auburn and FSU right now. So we will call those two a split.
Wins : Furman, Vandy
so yes...7 at the most, maybe 6.
So they are for sure going to lose to a team that has beat them once in about 18 tries, the same team that couldn't beat the Florida team that was in a three point stance every time they were running and standing every time they were passing using black qb's to run the ball and putting in the white man to pass on every 3rd downlast year with an even younger team. Yes, UGA lost to that team.. South Carolina just lost to Auburn and almost did the same to Navy and they have also beaten UF twice in their history. Somehow you think the Gators are worse than last year, which is mind boggling on so many levels.

Im all over the Laying the points in the Pitt -6.5 Vs. Rutgers game.. There some really bad blood there with all the ex coaches from pitt going to rutgers and bashing pitt out the door with recruits. Rutgers OL is horrible and they dont know who they have a qb dodd or nova fr. I see Pitt gelling with Todd Graham system. I see i score around 48-17. Plus, pitt had a few extra days to get ready. This one maybe over at half. Pitt could be 5-0 instead of 3-2 if not a 4qtr melt down's at Iowa and Nd.
Any thoughts on it?

ask yourself these questions.... What did Atlanta have to do in the off season to compete with Green Bay? Get more explosive.... did they? well they sold the farm to get Julio Jones..and he isnt ready yet.
Is Green Bay better then they were last season offensively? Yes they are. Why? They now have an established running game and a healthy Finley. Add all those things together and I think you have the same result.
Green Bay is the next great team...... ( they are what the Patriots were during there run. )
Green Bay wins Sunday night by at least 17 points....

South Carolina still doesn't have a QB...I see no reason for UF not to beat them IF Brantley is back at QB for the game. Georgia may be a win as well to me, they haven't beat anyone since the loss in the USC game except the two Mississippi schools (which are terrible this year) and Coastal Carolina....but we'll see, I'm not the expert here by any means, that's you Boom.

Hey Boom, just a quick question. I figure you know as much about Clemson as anyone on this board. They're 20:1 to win the national championship right now. Do you think they have a shot, and is it worth a small wager at those odds?
