Good luck this week.  I like your plays this week thus far (with Baylor being the loan exception).

The sport could use of your insight because you love the game so much. As for the haters out their, Boom makes picks, gives reasons on why they will cover, and either you agree with him or you don't.  He certainly believes every pick he makes is going to be correct, that's why he backs his picks with so much confidence. Sometimes he's right, other times he's not.  Boom isn't a psychic at picking college football games, so when everyone gets upset that Boom made an incorrect pick, some people just come in here and start chewing him out because they wanted him to be right. When multiple people are in your ear, you obviously are going to retaliate unless you have no testosterone.  So when people come into Boom's thread  and complain he's an a**hole or ignorant, it's because so many people expect this dude to be perfect with his picks.  Boom IMO you have an undoubtedly passion for college football and I hope one day you can put that to work and become a college football analyst for ESPN rather than a capper.... Just my opinion though

    I agree with this 100%

Just post plays and let everything else sort itself out, it's not worthwhile to do it any other way here with 90% of the people being idiots. You'll either have people on hallucinogens claiming you should be an ESPN analyst or people coming in here knocking you when you lose, it comes with the territory on this site. If you prefer to keep away from the latter you also have to stay away from the former as well. Good luck to you this week, just take a look at your threads from afar and from an unbiased point of view, it's become almost entirely nonsense aside from the posts you make just discussing games.

    Sup Boom!

Call me a homer but i think your love of Robert Griffin is tainting your brain.

Look, i understand that RGIII is a stud but he doesnt play both sides of the ball. If RGIII decides that he wants to tuck and run then yes, i would agree that it would possibly pose some problems for the OU defense as scrambling QB's often give them fits. He has i think about 500 yrds rushing this year. And of course, we all know he can throw the deep ball with the best of them...But, Baylors defense is TERRIBLE! I think you would have to agree on that. OU lost Whaley but Finch is a good back and even better at receiving that ball out if the back field. Broyles being out definantly hurts them but Jaz Reynolds is doing a good job at picking up the slack. The home field advantage wont be a factor as about 40% of the crowd will be for OU. Having been to the last 2 OU/Baylor games in Waco, Baylor fans sell their tickets to anyone.

This OU team is focused and ready after a week off. OU wins by 21-24 pts...IMO.....

I agree, Crimson. I like Baylor aswell. I think OU will run through them. Landry Jones is being over looked because of Luck/ Barkley/RGIII but he is a solid passer!! Plus, I think they are trying to position themselves for a look at the NC game if other teams lose! OU has more to gain then Baylor IMO! Best of luck to you Crimson and also Boom aswell

Any MAC followers here, have any thoughts on tommorow's game Miami(OH) vs. Western Michigan. Miami is laying 1.5 points. Im leaning western Michigan, mainly because I can't see Miami hanging with W Michigan's offensive attack. Thoughts welcome....

I think when you tell everyone you know more than all of them combined, or say you finally had a bad week when you've been getting crushed for over a month, or the fact that you don't include the juice you lost each week and just post yourself as a winner when it's not the case, and that you don't have any idea how to use "there" "their" and "they're"....all of this opens you up to some negative posts. With that said, I'm pretty sure most, if not all, of it is in good fun and people just messing with each other on a forum.

Looks like Boomer Sooner Baby int the Nat'l Championship game.  They've owned OSU's ass for what 35 out of 40 years now, or something ridiculous like that.  The cappers know who the better team is, early odds in Vegas = Pickem (at Stillwater).  The majority of all computer models and BCS "experts" predict if OU wins out they will be in the title game.  Find another team that will have beaten 4 teams rated in the top 11 when they played them.  TTech is a shitty loss and a valid argument for why the Sooners should not make it.  However, nobody has a better argument regarding what they have done to get there.  As my favorite coach Smack Brown would say "You must look at the work of their body".  And yes I am a die hard OU homer.  Been following your posts for quite a while now and enjoy reading them.  I never post, but I've been sitting back waiting on the moment to stick that in your pipe.  Now, if only my beloved overrated Sooners can do their part and win in Stillwater.  Don't worry, we will, we always do.  And we are also better than anyone at backing into Nat'l title games.

Glad to see you on Tennessee this week. Bray returned to practice today and is questionable for the game. He was having trouble snapping under center, so they ran a lot of shotgun and experimented with some pistol.

Tennessee is still the better team, but Vandy is in a better place mentally. If Tennessee can make a few plays early and get confident, they should take it. I'll be making the trip to Knoxville this weekend, so I'll be plenty nervous enough to have any cash on it, but it's always hard to imagine losing to Vandy.

    Best of luck, Boom.
