Your Clemson boys are just learning how to grow out of a huge disappointment/setback. That loss to GT was crushing. Now you get to find out what your team & coaches are made of and if you have any leaders on the squad.

Think about it, Clemson had the magical season going and an undefeated season within grasp. Now it's all vanished, poof. Hard to regain the momentum and confidence you had prior to the loss because of a) a hangover, and b)what are you playing for now?

I have a feeling after a close call last week these guys are about to regain their focus for the stretch run. The sting of the tech loss is gone, top 5 has been shook up, and they should re-focus and realize they can win the ACC and go to a BCS bowl and who knows what else may happen.

I expect Clemson to roll over ncst and then get in a dogfight with s.car. They know they need to right the ship before they start thinking about the gamecocks.

Do you really think Clemson wants to 'back in' or 'limp in' to the ACC title game by getting the tiebreaker over fsu following a loss to ncst? If so, your coaches have done a terrible job of preparation/leading the team.

And the bye week you had after tech while nice, probably hurt your timing and focus. Too much dwelling on the loss. That won't be the case this weekend as you went back to work after the wake win.

Well, It's my first real bad week of the year and believe me, this forum let me know it. Going 5 - 9 and losing 9 units sucks. But the way some of you children act in here is comical. How many of you can honestly say that you haven't had a bad week yet this season? The difference between me and you clowns that clutter my thread with your garbage is, look at the top of the page. Yeah, I had a bad week. But I always have a very profitable year. 8 consecutive years to be exact. One more thing haters, just because I had a bad week doesn't change anything. I still know more about the game of football than all of you nut jobs combined. To everyone else, thanks for your support.

I just don't get why a guy of your caliber has to come in and explain a bad week.

Gambling is a marathon not a sprint! Any good capper in here knows that........SO......anyone who comes in and hates for a bad week..YOU DON"T NEED! Everyone else understands the rhythm of gambling.

Just continue with what you do so well. Only the rookies and bottom feeders will not get it........and so what? Who needs them anyway. There like fair weather friends.

Just remember(and I know you know this already), momentum in college football is a powerful thing. It can take an average team and make them play like an elite team. Some days/nights it can take a poor team and make them play like champions(at least for a game). On the flip side how many times have we seen a team loaded with nfl talent underachieve against lesser talented squads. Texas anyone? Oklahoma hosting texas tech??

I think uga and ok st are 2 good examples of the power of momentum. Georgia dismantled us last weekend and although they've had a cupcake schedule the mindset that has been created through that long string of wins has them believing they can win any game.

I saw it last year with Auburn.

I have a feeling Georgia is going to give whoever wins the SEC west a good test in the sec champ game.

I'd throw some caution out there for those wanting to back the vols this weekend. Don't do it.

Vandy has a good squad. Don't fall for the name recognition of Tennessee and the name recognition of Vanderbilt. Don't convince yourself Tennessee has a talent advantage therefore Vandy will lose.

Vandy wins this game straight up, possibly in convincing fashion. Franklin has this team playing really really well and they believe. I watched them take it to Arky, Fla, uga. They had Arkansas beat. They had all 3 beat.

I don't care that Bray is back. Arkansas has Wilson and uga Murray. They've faced and given all kinds of problems to better QB's.

Rodgers little brother gets better and better every week at QB for the dores.

How is Dooley possibly going to get the vols fired up to play Vandy? Not going to happen.

The last piece of compelling evidence is the pointspread. Go find the last time Vandy was favored to win in Knoxville. Ask yourself, why is the oddsmaker throwing points to Tennessee at home against the dores?
