airforce only has 61 players on their team, and now has to travel. I think asking them to win a conference game on the road vs a San Jose team who brings back quite a bit on offense and defense is steep for me.
yea, they were jacked up to play navy...but now, traveling to Jose vs a team who probably believes they can hang with AF...I think they play well enough to keep it within this number
shocked. Don’t understand it. UAB is clearly the better team, 21-0 SU at home since starting FB back up in 2017...15-4-2 ATS in those games. They don’t lose at home. Not that they can’t. But they don’t.
The fact that ULL beat Iowa state means nothing in this game. They should have lost to Georgia state, Georgia southern and did lose to Coastal Car. UAB has taken care of business vs every one they have played this year and were very competitive vs Miami (17-14 w/ 5:00 to go 3rd Q)
I honestly don’t understand it. I could be wrong. But I don’t get it.
My opinion of that UAB game is .. both these teams position to position are pretty close.. Lafayette has edge in special teams.. Lafayettes defense is weaker, but still solid dont let schedules fool you, Lafayette has actually played teams with fast paced and efficient offenses. Uab hasn't.. but reason why I think Lafayette is chalk is huge advantage at QB.. Lewis has struggled this year but he is an all conference veteran and Lucero will probably get exposed tomorrow night.. hes awful IMO and doesn't come close to Ty johnson.. johnson was also one hell of team leader and motivator..

The OP is solid... been killing it so respect.. but I would stay away from from San jose.. I like air force in this spot with a game under there belt.. san Jose is a mess on defense and won't be able to stop air forces triple option offense.. they couldnt even stop Cal polys. They are also breaking in a new Qb and starting running back and couple lineman.. Starkel sucks.. there transfer QB and the coaches basically said he's just holding a spot because our freshmen are better than him we just need them to catch up .. and won't matter who is running anyway.. they have absolutely no run game and there star QB who carried the whole team on his back (Love) graduated out
Yeah also ULL with 2 kick returns in that game .. IA State played a bad game, didn't get their run going couple OL's were injured, Kolar all con TE was out .. offense was sluggish, lotta dropped passes .. ULL less the ST scores still wins but woulda won the game on that late TD but tough to say it woulda played out that way .. best team that day won for sure but wouldn't project 100% of IA State's recent success to ULL now ..
ULL maybe better QB but Lucero has two much better weapons at WR .. I'd say ULL's receiver situation has really downgraded the O a quite a bit I knew looking at what they lost last year couple talented guys plus losing numerous to injury preseason that it would be their biggest challenge and the situation has really downgraded the O quite a bit .. Completion % down from 64% to 58% basically from pretty good to below average is hurting them .. sans the cyclones who actually give up a pretty decent pass comp % (give up lotta short pass plays) they haven't played alot of difficult defenses yet .. 58% vs GA-State really doesn't sound good lately .. ULL capable of winning this game but need to obvi do what they do on the ground and really need to pick up the slack passing ..

Bridge1- I dont even take into account that iowa state game... lol.. Im merely talking about = coastal Carolina, geo southern, and even Georgia state.. first two will be good enough to compete for conference chip. Georgia state holds there own in sun belt.. UAB has faced the lowest forms of competition.. south alabama, UTSA, wku will all be battling for worst team in conference.. and Lucero still struggled against those abysmal defenses.. as for Lewis struggling you are very right about the drop off being do to his recievers and poor play. Agreed he had more weapons LY.. I think when they get on the field we will see a clear athleticism and speed advantage from a team in red and a much better qb is to why they win
