i am a big ten guy but any college football fan has to love SEC football . i like what both of the programs have done, but i truly believe LSU is 10 point better team at a neutral site. -6 should be the spread and lsu should cover tonight IMO

LSU has a much stronger offense that Auburn... Much better Oline, better RB, and doesn't make half the stupid mistakes. LSU also has a better defense than Auburn, far better. If you add these things together, LSU is going to pretty much dominate this game.

Here's some reasons Miss State "could" win:

It's freaking college football and anything could happen with these kids, Miss State still very hungry after that loss last week at Auburn, LSU doesnt have a QB, Relf and Ballard are freaking beasts. Saying a road team in the SEC will cover is your bet of the year is absolutely stupid. Everyone basing LSU to cover this game off of last weeks Miss State loss is really stupid. All that loss did was piss them off. I think it will be a really close game and comes down to the last 5 min...no means a "bet of the year" game. You really dont know SEC football

OK jeg...I hear the same shit EVERY YEAR and EVERY YEAR, except 2009 when LSU only won by 4 because they had a less talented team, LSU WINS EASILY AND COVERS EASILY...

BOTTOM LINE: THIS GAME WILL NOT BE CLOSE: EASY WIN

I wasnt saying i was so confident that Miss State would win, i was just trying to give some examples of how by no means this should be somebodys "bet of the year". Just ridiculous. My money is on Miss State in the 1st half. What happens at the end i dont really care, but Miss State will go into halftime with the lead and then LSU's defense will probably be too much for Miss State in the 2nd half

dude, this is dumb, the only way any team that has ever been -4 doesnt cover is if they lose or win by less than 4, dumbest comment i have seen in a long time.

Why might Miss. St. win?
- Maybe the Oregon win isn't that good of a win. Oregon hasn't won a big game recently when the other team had time to prepare (Auburn and Ohio St in bowl games and Boise St to start the year a couple years back). Oregon made some dumb mistakes, like the fumbled punt, that led to easy LSU points.
- If Miss. St. doesn't turn the ball over can LSU move the ball on them? Further, if Miss St. gets off to a fast start, I don't think LSU is the type of team to come back. To me, they look more like a wear-you-down running team. I don't have a lot of faith in Lee to mount a 4th quarter comeback.

With that being said . . . I like your LSU pick. I think the LSU defense will shut down Miss. St. and LSU's run game will be too much. I just wanted to throw out a few reasons why Miss. St. COULD cover.

All I was saying was that, for the most part, LSU has to LOSE this game to LOSE the bet (slim chance they win by 1 or 2 points) and I just don't see that happening. Just another way to look at it. Forget about the -3 as far as losing the bet...Is this how you spend your time making smart-ass a replies like that?

Thanks. Good points..Hopefully LSU we wont have that problem (playing from behind). Unless we have early turnovers we should be ok and have the lead the entire game...

should have a better reason for game of the year title though... like because lsu ml is -200 which is 50% on your money (anyone think lsu will lose?... thought not)
