Personally I think UCF is a top tier Conf USA team where as Marshall is borders on that 2nd and third tier. They are playing well, but I think UCF is better. This line opened around -4. I should have played it then, but I waited.
Ucf has lost to both ECU and USM on the road.

Solid - the key to this game will come down to offensive vs. defensive line play and special teams. The QBs are for the most part equal as well as the receivers and db's.
Marshall's RB Darius Marshall ranks 2nd Nationally with 136 per game. Countering that is UCF's Defense which 7th nationally with 3.3 sacks per game and 8th nationally 8.6 tackles for loss per game. UCF's DE Jarvis Geathers ranks 8th nationally with 7 sacks.
Marshall has CUSA's 3rd best pass defense. However on the O-Line the starting left tackle and left guards are out for the game due to injuries suffered last week.
Marshall's TE Cody Slate is superb and will be playing on Sundays. DE Albert McClellan is a beast.
Both are playing for the lead in CUSA's East race and are battling the standinds with East Carolina.
Intangibles: I live in Orlando. The Bright House Networks Stadium is very loud and will be at sellout capacity tonight. This stadium is not a typical loud student section and sit on your hands season ticket stuff shirts. The whole stadium is rockin' when the Knights play at home. I look for some false start penalties for Marshall and burnt time outs. One major intangible will be the coaching. George O'Leary and staff for UCF will definitely out coach Mark Snyder and assistants.
I am holding off taking a side until second half. The game opened at -3.5 for UCF and has moved to -7 presently.
When these two teams play it is usually physical and smashmouth. I foresee UCF's sack total going up as well as their tackles for loss.
My selection in under 42.
Teaser Marshall -14 Under 49 or better yet a 3 teamer 10pt tease Arizona Cardinals/Carollina Panthers Over 31.5 / Cards PK / Marshall/UCF Under 52.
GOOD LUCK and GO HERD!
I hope this helps....OUT

They gave U of Miami all they could handle until the 4th QTR however so did Marshall with WVU.
Strongest play is the under as I see both D's getting after it. Barring turnovers with short fields I see it hitting.
To me the biggest factor will be UCF's home advantage however I was wondering to myself if the boys being at home with all of the Halloween parties hurt the local team. I am sure that O'Leary has a night before curfew probably putting the team in a hotel the however with such a late 8PM start I just don't know.

Hey Coach...I did seek help at GA but their meetings conflicted with my AA meetings.
Cheers!

Its not the like the players spend the night before games hanging out at home or in a dorm. They are with the team and kept in a hotel with bed chack.
I am on UCF, but I would bet Marshall ML before I would bet UCF ML. Odds are more important than points.
