Since there is no NFL Sunday Night Football tonite, I was thinking about betting on this game. I don't know anything about these 2 teams, so I need some insights. UCF is favored by a TD, so I guess they are the better team and at home. I might just bet on the 2nd half, as I get a feel of what each team is capable of, and play off of that......Anyone have any LEANS??? My lean is Marshall +7 cause I looked at their schedules and who they beat, and it looks like both teams are about even. Might as well take the free 7 pts....

I just did more research and UCF has a really great Defense (excellent run D and sack the QB alot), and a ball-controlling offense. Now I'm leaning to UCF -7. Let me research Marshall now.......

Personally I think UCF is a top tier Conf USA team where as Marshall is borders on that 2nd and third tier. They are playing well, but I think UCF is better. This line opened around -4. I should have played it then, but I waited.
Ucf has lost to both ECU and USM on the road.

Wow, Marshall has a very good QB, better than UCF's QB, but UCF is more of a run-oriented offense. Marshall mixes the offense with run and pass, a more conventional pro-type offense. Plus, Marshall shut down UAB in their last game, and I beleive UAB scored like 50 on Saturday vs UTEP.......now I don't know who to bet on.....

Marshall's TE Cody Slate is superb and will be playing on Sundays. DE Albert McClellan is a beast.
Both are playing for the lead in CUSA's East race and are battling the standinds with East Carolina.
Intangibles: I live in Orlando. The Bright House Networks Stadium is very loud and will be at sellout capacity tonight. This stadium is not a typical loud student section and sit on your hands season ticket stuff shirts. The whole stadium is rockin' when the Knights play at home. I look for some false start penalties for Marshall and burnt time outs. One major intangible will be the coaching. George O'Leary and staff for UCF will definitely out coach Mark Snyder and assistants.

They gave U of Miami all they could handle until the 4th QTR however so did Marshall with WVU.
Strongest play is the under as I see both D's getting after it. Barring turnovers with short fields I see it hitting.
To me the biggest factor will be UCF's home advantage however I was wondering to myself if the boys being at home with all of the Halloween parties hurt the local team. I am sure that O'Leary has a night before curfew probably putting the team in a hotel the however with such a late 8PM start I just don't know.

Thanks for the insights. That Marshall pass D that you mentioned shouldn't really be a factor because UCF doesn't pass that much, as my research found out. Also Those injuries to Marshall's O-Line should help UCF in stopping Marshall's good RB. Thanks for telling me about that. Well, anyways, I already put my bets in, and I'll just let it do its work. I think I have a good shot to win both my bets. UCF winning, and Marshall still covering +7. Hopefully, we get a 21-17 type score, so we both win.
